wat do you mean by recharge?

something like washing, oiling, servicing it again for reuse.

So far the recommended choice seems to be a brand new revo it I want to keep the bike for a long time.

Might try to join in to the s4 gatherings to get a feel of the community, and the bike itself..:)

that is a wise choice. You wouldn't want to do repairs on damages incur by the previous owner do you? Hmm will there be like a gathering? I haven seen the communty yet too.

Hi Guys,

I am from Melbourne, Australia. I have been looking for a dedicated CB400 forum to no avail until I found this site which seems to have the most comprehensive and detailed threads about this bike in the world.

My current ride is a 2008 Honda CB400 SF. Here are some pics of my bike:

http://i925.photobucket.com/albums/ad93/ResmeN/CB400/IMG_0139.jpg

Now my question is I want to upgrade my exhaust to an aftermarket one with a nice deep and throaty sound as these bikes are fairly quiet below 6000rpm. I have been told Yoshi aren't too good. I would love Akra but they are a tad pricey and heard Micron went out of business. The new one piece black pipe by Moriwaki looks the goods too. Ideally I would prefer a slip on.

What are your thoughts and recommendations on which pipes would be best suitable for a bike such as this.

Thanks,

Ahmet from OZ.

when i turn the key on, while the meter is clearing i hear loud beeping sound from the meter that lasts for 5s or so.. is that normal? because i have not heard of the beep before. checked coolant and plugs nothing is wrong.. have no idea what causes the meter to beep.. is that a warning ? thanks!

Thank you dragonforce. Yes I can clearly say this forum is the most comprehensive when it comes to the CB400 in english.

Yes I like the colour scheme too. I didn't like the other tri colour with blue in it. I initially wanted to buy a cruiser but when I saw this bike fell in love with it and am as happy as can be.

The sp tatdo exhaust looks very extravagent and I am after more of a slip on in carbon or black rather than a whole system.

Thanks.

alternatively, if you like black ones, do look up blueflame satin black version or moriwaki.

i believe there are many more options than what we can think of here.. cos many other brands are not legal here.. eg 2 brothers, beet etc.

Never heard of that exhaust. Are you happy with it, do they come in black or carbon and how much?

I've got the LV brushed aluminium slip-on. its good. :) (and only about AUD$700-850 from memory even after dealer bump-ups)

I've just got a quote on the LV carbon fibre slip on at AUD800. Trying to find cheaper if possible.

If you were to buy again would you get the same one or different brand. Also is it loud enough for cars to notice you when you are riding around them?

Thanks my friend. No it's not a bad bike or anything as it's the same as mine but just different colour though I preferred the red/white/black combo more.

How much did the blueflame pipe cost you and any links?
