if you are planning to cruise at higher speeds when touring, i suggest you down size your rear spocket..

stock is 15 -41

a good size for touring is 15-39..

for me, i'm on 15-43.. as i need the speed to travel at expressways because DRZ is my mode of transport.. but i do need the torque when i'm at Tuas..

there's never a win win situation for pick up and top speed.. you will needa sacrifice one of it..

i dun race at Tuas, i just practise there.. Racing is totally different from just weekend practise or trackdays.. i cant commit to racing yet as my work schedue clashs with the race days.. next year maybe..

for losing the rust, you may either change to bolts and nuts to stainless steel one or religiously clean them with WD40 with a cotton bud..

changing them to stainless steel are better for longer run, and you can choose your own type of bolts, i.e. allen key head, normal bolt or even rare star shaped ones..

when we went to Malacca, we cruised at 100kph..

120kph shouldnt be a problem if you changed your spocket size..

what's the rush??

ya ..speed is not a problem..just need to change ur seat to a chopper seat will do ..:sian:

I thought of bringing my bike fer a ride at tuas, but no kaki. I'm still a newbie to this motard bike. Riding on a kapchai is totally diff wif the motard. Did have a few fall a few times there on a kapchai.

Geez... how this can get so distorted. :faint:

There is no free barbecue.. the track owner only provide 2 barbecue pits with charcoal.. you bring your own food. The track fee for that night is $30. And it is not for racers only.. the track is open to anyone.

Where got everything free? Your bro in law thinks the track owner is a carrot or what??

For more details.. please refer to the On the Track section.
