for mine, no prob at 100 - 105kph and yes, the engine do give some noises but when u chgd to aftermarket pipe, u'll only hear the exhaust sound. i think the flying feeling is because scrams has high seating position, thus the feeling but i think as long as u don't wear butterfly dress, u will not fly :faint:.

that's my feel. mayb some bros cld explain theirs....

then whats the cruising speed for drz. 110-120 comfortable? used to this speed sia

Im currently on 15/42 gearing on a stock bike. 100 - 110km/h cruise-able, RPM still below 7k. but i would say 100km/h is comfortable.

i wanna dowm to 16/38 or 39...anyone knows where i can find these sprocket sizes ?? seems quite difficult to find.

110-120 in SG is over limit.. try going slower.. especially when you are new to the bike.. think of your love ones.. be late is better than never reach..

for 15/43 on mine, cruising at 80kph is comfortable.. but usually i go abt 75kph..

you might wanna try Unique for JT spockets or ISA spockets for this above size..

for front 16 if you wanna use might needa shave a bit of the chain slider as it's barely touching it.. i suggest just play with the rear spocket size..

by using 15/39, bear in mind that pick up is definately compromised..

actually ideal prices are on the high side wor.....

try http://www.wheelingcyclesupply.com

Forrest is the man, he's quite friendly.. Discounts are usually given for orders more than USD300, but bear in mind of GST.. Payment by Paypal..

hi. been riding the bike(2nd hand) for approximately 8 months before i experienced bogging. while cruising at highway speeds, it felt like i had no petrol although that is not the case.

so, i had the carb serviced and had mcct installed as well. the mechanic replaced this palm-sized rubber thing with a needle sticking out of it from the carb with a new one. after that i test-rode the bike but i experienced more back-fire than usual even though the bike was jetted with fmf jetkits and i had no issues with backfiring before.

when i told the mechanic about it, he said it was normal. so i would like to ask you guys for a second opinion.

I didnt know using a 16 front would have this issue. Thanks for the heads up bro. think i would try out 15/39 or 38 then. Pick up is not an issue for me. Mainly intending to use the bike for transport and touring. Plus im too used to the heavy underpowered bike on my avtar!

any meet ups soon ?

Guys..does anyone knows where can I buy drz plastics?? I tot of getting new shrouds .

try LAB or Chong Aik for Acerbis ones..

KS Motors and Guan hoe for OEM (the price will shock you)..

it can be anything from inside your carb or the settings causing the problem..

it could be worn out jettings too..

maybe you could bring it to another mech for another opinion..

any meet ups soon ?

You may wanna get Bottlecap's number for meetups.. as i'll be skipping town tonight.. haha..
