hi guys i just got a drz 400sm finally.may i know

 

1) wat is a air box mod means,3X3?

2)wher can i get fcr crb like 39mm?

3)Drc tail light?

4)wat is pair system remove?

5)wher can i get zeta clutch?

guys jus wanna check wif u all..normally how long will the battery,coil and all those electrical stuff last?cus it seems like a common issue to our bikes..so actually would like to know more about it. thanks for the reply:)

batt normally 2yrs .the rest depends u heng sway,could be 1 day to few yrs.

1) yes, remember to re-jet ur carb or else ur bike will be running too lean

2) SBF Garage sales can find 2nd hand ones, thumpertalk can ship in new ones

3) DRC tail light can get from ideal motor or any bike shops who have them

4) remove this piece of junk when u have aftermarket exhaust

5) ideal motor or any bike shops who have them

i use one yr ++ liao also no problem so far

bros, can power commander be installed on our bikes? i really blur.

 

Power Commanders are used for fuel remapping the fuel control unit of the fuel injection system. Fuel injected bikes do NOT have carbs but the precisely measured quantity of fuel is injected into the intake throat of the cylinders.

 

The stock DRZ is a using a constant velocity (CV) Mikuni 36 BSR carb.

 

As for the later Husqvarnas... they are fuel injected and yes, they can have Power Commander installed to remap their fuel injectors for more pick up acceleration or more top end power.

My bikes are serviced by Boy Johari of Abboy Motor Racing at Kallang Ave Industrial Estate.

 

With all the info I have fed him from USA and also with him using my bike for testing... he has become quite good at tuning the DRZ with the stock carb or with an FCR39 fitted.

 

He recently overhauled my race bike and replaced a few of the bearings with race bearings. That was his final DRZ qualified mechanic test and the bike was tested at PG last track day.

 

The bike was hitting a top of 172 KMH down the back straight of PG. No rider skill involved... just raw brutal machine power. :angel:
