My clutch cable is dry...when I clutch in it's hard.fingers getting pain.hehe.

Tried wd40,dosent help.how do I lube the cable?or do I need to buy a new cable..pls advise.thx guys.

Another small question.doing jd jetting n 3x3.is the power worth it,or not much of a difference.fuel consumption bad?8l I can get abt 160-170km.

If jd jetting on average how much will I get.100km?120?

Thinking of doing it,but need these advise first b4 I decide.

Thx...

kindly state what bike you riding..

for the clutch cable just change it..

if you meant DRZ, jd jettings and 3x3 is for smoother ride and less deceleration popping..

better FC with smooth power..

with 3x3 and jd, most likely your FC may or may not change.. just that you will have less deceleration popping and smoother ride..

The whole package jd jetting n 3x3 will cost abt 200++

how's the power wise?if i cant feel the diff, think it's not worth spending such $ on.yup, riding a drz.what minor mods can't I do to give it alittle more horse power.not intending to race it,but a little more h/p would b nice.

Anyway,r u warrent officer in the army?

seriously, there's not even a horse you can expect from jetting and 3x3..

it's just a smoother ride you can expect that's all..

nope, not a WO.. But a MDES..

i'm not sure if buying a lube for it will solve ur problem but again, i think the cost will be the same as buying a new cable la. anyways, isn't cables considered as consumables? i.e wear n tear parts.....

you can consider it as consumables i think? but then again, regular maintenance will firstly, retain the cable in top condition while at the same time prolong its shelf-live. right?

Military Domain Expert Scheme.

In the scheme, bo CPL, 3SG, 2SG, 1SG, SSG, MSG, 2WO, CPT what ever rank..

they go by ME1 (being the lowest) to ME8 (being the Zeus of the hierarchy).

I ORD-ed during the MDES transition period, so know abit abit only.

does a stock drz come with a chain guard?

if it doesn't, installing a chain guard is a good to have or must have thing?

and by fixing a sports rim to the bike, is it meant for track purpose?

sorry need to deepen my knowledge abt drz thingy.....

yes.. stock DRZ had a chain guard.. it's to stop any flinging of chain wax/lube you used.. i still had mine on.. i see no purpose in removing it..

furthermore, you can be fine by TP/LTA for not having chain guard..

fixing up a sports rims had some significant purpose,

firstly it does not need any tubes, it run tubeless.. and you dun need to afraid that it will burst while travelling or the tube melting if you are tracking hardcore..

secondly, by not using tubes, it reduces the weight of the rims.. if you had carry the 2 tubes (F&R) before, it's a considerable weight.. i didnt measure how much is the stock rims VS marchesinis, but they should be similar.. still you lose the weight of the tubes..

thirdly, it's the bling factor and the ease of washing your rims..

you can use the rims for tracks, as it does not have tubes that you will melt if you overheat your tyres..

besides marcheinis, there's other brands of sports rims and even tubeless spoke rims..
