you mean tyres??

the only closest tyre near to semi is the Maxxis Goldspeed..

there's no knobbies for 17" rims..

if you wanna convert offroad, there's already a few owners that converted..

price ranges abt $1.5k

hmm, thanks, guess i need to get a pair of proper rims.

any one did the loctite fix? any mech recommended to do that? kinda concern on the primary gear nut and the countershaft gear nut. seems like quite a sum of people faced the countershaft nut problem

Yes. As Suzuki does not sell any meter spares.

Let me know if you need mine.

I can help you install if you need to.

It definately can be changed but should be quite expensive..

You bought bike from shop? Ask if bike shop got spare keys. Or what can they do to help solve the problem.

Else try asking lock smith to see if they can make the key outta the lock.

Loctite fix does not only include the countershaft nut.

The stator bolts too are needed to be loctited.

Stator bolts are to be loctite as they came out of factory without loctite. Without loctite, the bolts will have chances of unscrewing during operation which in turn will jam up the stator.

Countershaft nut loctite however will prevent the loosening of the nut. But the main problem is actually the manufacture of the primary shaft.

You can loctite the nut, but the primary shaft will still have chances to break when your luck is low.

If you happened to see a broken primary shaft, you will get the idea.

Doing the loctite fix may need to leave the bike overnight for the loctite to dry.

Draining of EO may not be necessary.

I reckon the job if done at a bike shop should cost about $30.

woah.. it's a short qns that needs a long long answer..

1yr old DRZ normally selling at $10k with minimal accessories..

one thing you need to know about starting to track..

--- you must be ready to fall ---

Leathers are cheap nowadays..

for a set of gloves, boots and suit, abt $1k..

check the Mass Order section for Spirit Motorcycle Leathers

they looked nice and comes with a good price tag(set for

if you are more brand orientated..

Alpinestars set would most likely cost you abt $1.2K for a basic set, up till $2k+ for better models.

of cuz, better brands like Dainese will costs much more..

DRZ is a good start as it had a good posture and good suspension to start with..

going down with DRZ also had proven to be less costly than any 2A bikes..

a change of spockets of lower gear ratio needed for PG, else it's great for daily commuting and some fun at track..

religious monthly maintenance schedule will prevent any major issues like fried coil, worn clutch..

plus we are a friendly bunch..!
