insurance best to ask the insurance co. different age different bike make, model all play a part. mine's 7000-800+ before ncd, and im below 21; 3rd party only. fire and theft is 1.4k before ncd

No problem..!!! Even bike shop can straight away give you the quotation right on the spot. Try asking them.

Also be careful when choosing bike shop for the purchase of your bike. Do ask them do they have any early settlement fee. If yes ask them how much & tell them to write it down on the agreement contract if you are comfortable with the amount before you sign anything. Normally they will just leave it blank without you noticed anything because normally you will not spend the time read line by line of the agreement contract (Too excited to faster get the bike..!!!!) & when you sold your bike to another bike shop then they will fill up the blank with the amount when the bike shop go to full settle your bike & the amount can be up to $1k to $2k depending. Then u will have difficulty selling your bike in the future. Try to ask around and u will know that there are some bike shop that do not have any early settlement fee. Do take note of that.

Good Luck on your coming Zee......!!!!!! :cheeky:

how "legal" your bike is??

-LED signal = no pass

-Zeta tail light = no pass

-must have mudflap

-number plate must be legal

-the list goes on..

as long as it's not stock, they can fail you..

second time you go is free if they rejected you the first time..

but third time you must pay..

i let UM handle my inspection, too troublesome to go for inspection 2 trips..

i paid $60 for it..

i feel that its worth the price, if u feel that there's too many mods arent stock parts on ur drz. I rather pay 50 then spend the time/apply leave to go there twice and wait.

PG Track Day this Sunday 24 Oct 2010.

When the red lights go out.. all the talk about how powerful or fast my bike is, or how fast I take the corner stops.

Its the lap times that talk.

Anybody know which engine oil is better (eg:Bel Ray/Thumper/Agip....etc)...cos i read most of the posting...found that those senior rider like Raptor, biting_point, sparkrs1 is using/recommended Bel Ray or Thumper engine oil when servicing...Currently i am using Agip engine oil. Ani shop to recommend for cheap servicing and got bike wash after servicing....hahaha.

There are a few question in my mind:

1) Keep changing of engine oil brand will cost damage to your engine.. (eg:no fix brand)

2) Different workshop/mechanic doing servicing (eg: no fix one...keep changing workshop)

I am looking for one reliable workshop which is good. cheap, and good workmanship....I believe other than UM is there other workshop around.....please advise me all senior rider....anyway i am due for servicing soon (2000k or 5months seldom ride bike)......thanks

I believe Uncle Raptor got mentioned it before..

be it semi-syn, full-syn or mineral.. as long you change it frequently(for me, once a month), it'll not be "over-used" and damage the engine..

prolonged use of EO also will damage the coil which in turn causing the electric problem combo (Coil, rectifier, battery)..
