I think i know what's the problem here..

Gabs: yours is PI, ignition key and handle lock key is the same.. locksmith beside LAB say cannot do yours because he dun have the blank..

Iz: yours is agent, ignition key is normal sized, but handle lock key is smaller one.. therefore locksmith at Compass pt cannot do..

conclusion:

Agent models - you can do it at the locksmith beside LAB. (handlelock key)

PI models- you can do it almost everywhere if they have the blank..

yep, one for ignition, one for handle lock. good qn! just speculating, perhaps its a security measure, in case ur ignition key got stolen/duplicated by someone with intent to steal ur bike, he wont be able to unlock the handlebar lock with the same key?

aftermarket tail lights does not comes with signal lights.. but DRC comes with signal light brackets..

boh lah.. where got comes with signal light one.. signals sold seperately!! :p

i just went to talk a look at u***** *ot** , they were selling without tail lights... and drc one is freaking expensive...

you want the signal lights or tail light??

DRC is quality stuff, paying $60-70 for Acerbis one is even not worthwhile..

DRC comes with the proper brackets to fit DRZ, whereas Acerbis one need you to drill your rear fender to mount the tail light.. DRC got license plate light, Acerbis does not.. your license plate will shake like crazy with Acerbis one, not on DRC.. DRC using metal bracket, Acerbis is just plastic..

You can also try the mint store 10meters away from Regina's, along the way to AhBoy. They do it at $4 a pair, just make sure you do a check on both the steering locking mechanism and the engine starter before taking off. it's always the case that it starts the bike, but it doesnt lock or unlock your steering lock.

next item to save up for then haha.

btw anyone here know if a ' V force reed valve system' can be installed onto the DRZ400SM?? i did some read up on it abt how it gives slightly throttle response and power on top end but not to expect much since the difference may not be the same as on other bikes.

any help/info/advice for this item will be great. thanks!
