24th is Hari Raya. My furthest trip was to Trengganu on my phantom, 12 hr ride. Not much experience with my current s4. Can plan a 2day warm up to ipoh or penang before the actual one if anyone is interested.

Up still now some details of the trip are as follow,

 

Duration : From 3 nov to 15 nov ( not confirm might be shorter. To be confirm at a later date). Top Priority is to reach Mae sai border and if time allow may be cross over to Burma, Cover Golden triangle come back via Mae hong song.

 

Possible stop over first stop Hua Hin.

 

A lot depends on the weather and body conditons of all the rider going for the trip.

 

Travelling speed is about 130km/h to 160km/h at NSH. Night riding.

Travelling speed in thailand not confirm depends a lot in the road conditions and fog condition etc. But enusre slow and steady. Travel in the day stop at night.

 

So how any brother out there interested.

Between Mae Sariang and Hot there is route 1088 to Mae Chaem. Turn to route 1192 b4 Mae Chaem itself then 1009 up Doi Inthanon This way you will save on the entrance fees as compared to riding there from Chiang Mai

I've recieved your PM earlier and most prob I'll work my itinerary based on both of your trips i.e. going up with SBR750, coming back with bobtan.

 

Well mainly because I'm riding a Super4, and besides not wishing to slow you guys down too much, I wanna detour a bit to somewhere north of Bangkok.

In like of whats happening in BKK right now Would advise all riders to give it a wide berth of it until d situation calms down. Anyway why go there in the first place big maze of traffic jams and many roads banned to bikes.

damn man. now i'm reconsidering my NT ride. if situations doesnt get better by next mth, i'd probably haf to cancel my ride due to safety reasons.

If you really keen to go just siam central BKK as much as possible, anyway Chiang Mai situation OK.

Oew way is to turn to route 9 from route 4 then to route 32.

Another way is to head to Kanchanaburi via 323 from 4 b4 Nakhon Pathom, then 324 towards Siphan Buri followed by 333 to Uthai Thani then route 1 north from there.

The 2nd way siams BKK alot but make big detour as well as kena a lot of crap from sugarcane trucks along 324.

3rd way is to head to Suphan Buri by 321 from Nakhon Pathom route 4 then 333 and 1.

Never tried this route b4 so no idea of road conditions.

have been wanting to go for a long trip, finally able to clear some leave on 17-29 oct. not going cambodia & MHS 'cos i have promise my gal will go these 2 place with her. will prob head N Thailand then will make a loop through the West maybe try the friendship briagde.

 

will set off 17nite & back on 29 nite. if no respond then i will have to make this a solo trip :smile:
