Hi doc,

 

I'm a new signup user here. Need to ask you why my nouvo still have the metal clinking sound when I pull my throttle and the sound came from the belt area. I've replaced belt a week ago thinking the belt giving me this problem . Looks like not likely.

I noticed when I stopped the bike , I cannot immediately make a go when I pull my throttle. (eg: stop for red light , and immediate green light , so just pause to stop and go , I feel like dragging the bike and it wouldn't move immediately. Please help.

Hi kkysnoopy,do u feel the bike jerky when u brake and stop?And when u stop,u feel the bike vibrating more?If yes,it's the timing tat when off..juz need to tune the timing of the bike lower will do.. i encountered while moving,close throttle,then open throttle back,the bike takes bout 1 sec to move again,it's the timing tat when out..

Well it definitely sounds like you need to check on your rollers,belting...worry your bearings also gone liao..just my 2cents. In simple words,you need to send it for servicing and maintainance dude..don't end up with more repair costs when problems still minor now..right william? :cheeky:

 

*get the mechs to set your carb too...

How much is a nouvo selling for 1st hand? Just machine price, minus COE, rd tax, insurance & all that crap. Pardon me for asking this, not being lazy, just that currently not in Singapore. Anywhere selling 2nd hand nouvo? Cos I don't seem to spot any in garage sales.

 

Is the honda (such as the click or air blade) equivalent of the nouvo available in spore?
