hi

you can check the EPS and the power abuser at the below link:

i think mine should be nouvo S because i saw bahasa malayu wordings on the bike. i understand that nouvo S is from malaysia and your MX from thailand is it?

by the way, i have a small problem when starting the engine cold. the ignition dies off very easily unless i continue reving the engine for quite sometime. the choke also no use - once i open the choke, the engine dies... what is your experience when starting your engine cold?

i sometimes oso got problems in starting, though of changing spark plug, wonder whether will help..anyway,have u fixed any of the EPS or power abuser?

the same problem existed after i changed the plug. maybe you can check with the hong leong mechanics regarding this problem.

i have not fixed eps or power abuser on my bike yet but have tried eps on a car before - experienced more power. will fix it on my bike soon and keep you informed.

i think refugee is referring to the box below the seat - very useful, one of the biggest around. but sweet???

williamleesg, i need to ask why did you change your rims to 17"? i am also a newbie in a way so don't know alot of technical stuff. what is your nouvo's consumption before and after the change?

Posted

haha.. yeah.. the box below the seat...

the size of the box is sweet... if i'm not wrong can put 1 full face helmet...

put 1 more box... then can go shopping with your gf without helmets in hand le.. hahah!

the compartment below can onli put normal round helmet,i think full face maybe cannot fit in,never tried b4..as for why i changed my rims to 17",well i oso dunno, haha,my friends say it will look nicer with 17" so i juz changed..fuel consumption wise,hmm..i never realli notice..i onli feel the bike need to throttle more when got pillion, maybe bcoz of the rims and box added..

thanks for the invite to the mass outing. hope you guys/gals had a good time.

the consumption for my 2.5 years fully stock nouvo is 44/45km per litre or about 29km a dollar. i am a live-hard fan of caltex silver 95 octane petrol.

v0s bikey, what is your personal comment on the power abuser and have you fixed it on your spark? i went thru the pages quite a bit but still do not understand what is "grounding" which is also installed together with the power abuser? thank you...
