how to change windows xp password using cmd

 

1- go to start

2- go run

3- type cmd

4- type: net users

5- type: net users {} *

note {} is the username

6- type in the new password

7- type in the new password again

 

and ur done!! you can hack in to administrator account in this way too!! good luck

1. During the XP install phase, the person doing the setup is prompted to supply an password to the Administrator "protect it".

 

2. You will get "Access is denied" if you tried to change the Administrator's password if you are not part of the Administrators group

 

3. Why not use Local Users and Groups to do this?

It's simply point-n-click, and is easier and foolproof than the command line interface.
