Bro this weekend im gona take off my whole engine and also converting my bike to premix. Need to remove the circlip, which i think is somewhere in my crankcase. And wana get the top end ready for my rebuild. My cylinders here! Might need to machine off abit of my cylinder/cylinder head to fit my flat top cylinder head, so gona remove the whole engine to bring to my friends workshop for measurement. But its gona be at my place ah. If ur interested can come =)

Tentatively this sun. Still deciding whether to remove my engine or to just bring the whole bike to the workshop. But this sun confirm im gona be removing the 2T tank and hopefully fabricated a base plate so i can use the space for storage.

It seems a rs125 can go 200km/h plus at PG... but takes turn 2 at 120km/h.. Weird! What's your take on this? :)

 

I kaypoh a bit.....back straight to reach 200km/h plus, impossible for our 125....bike not powerful & light enough to push to that speed with such a distance. Another 2km long straight with down hill may be can with a well tuned and tall spocket ratio, can. :p

if u refereeing to track gears.. It's loan for free la. All u need is get an inner liner,u can get the budget ones at Regina.. Not sure their cost.. N just in case, leather patching cost 50-80 bucks depending on how

huge the job is..n I have couple of Alpinestar supertech R race boots size 42 if it fits yr size

That's about it... I guess u do have the basics,leather gloves n full face..

SMSA race 2..from a rider's point of view not some impaired point of view.

My RS couldn't match the top speed of the KRs ,only max out at 160 @10,300 RPM instead of the 167 previously, What the 3 KRs have in their bike will not be disclose here.I like to be entertain by rubbish assumptions by retards.I only manage a 2.03 sad case , my only hope was it would rain before lap 4 as the KR were on slicks n I try gain an advantage but it only started to rain by lap8.. They too far gone by then n decided to bring her home n collect the flag.. It was a lonely race .. Can't match the front runners n the 5th guy was like a distace away..

N only the knowledable can tell by listening to the sound of a bike upshifting on the straights that it's not up to expectation.

N the BS about it's looks slow from pit wall but fast in riders point of view is utter BS. If speed is a concern than go take up netball n ride a Honda cub C70 to the court.speed only becomes blinding fast above 220 n that's when u need to heighten yr speed of thought.but I won't discuss much or might be seen as boasting instead of sharing . Will share more during mini trackdays but then again , u can have a million theories but can't show anyone u can do it is considered useless information..Talk no walk =the blind leading the blind. After the race I wack my throttle couple in someones face.. If dunno what it means, it means prove it on track not with BS talk here. With a bike that can't rev above 10500 rpm , I will still leave u far behind. Aha ! Now that's boasting... Or afraid of high speed then try it in the rain, slower speed so not that threatening..

Words words words...it's not a blinking chat room, It's about bikes, it's about Aprilia RS 125 , a track based bike.

Previously when I had an airbox with the K&N panel filter but without a lid, I was using the 200 VMJ with just 1.5 turns out, which means the variable main jet size should be 150. That is the leanest setting. When I wanted to push the bike at full whack, I opened the VMJ 1.75 turns out, which is about 160.

 

You might have to increase the size of your VMJ to 170 or 180 if you're on track.

 

Since your carb is quite free-flowing, you should consider using the larger sized VMJ, perhaps the 250. Then you don't have to open so many turns out to hit the larger jet size. Just 0.5 turns out and its already 140. For the main jet size to be opened to 170 it's only 1.25 turns out.

 

The VMJ gives the additional convenience of tuning your main jet size without opening the carb. Damn shiok. I loved it when I was using it. On the fly adjustment while riding.

Hi,

 

Had changed my carb to 34, tried the top speed and it's the same as my carb 28; no changes. But that is when my blog was totally dirty with full of black oil leaking out.

 

And now my blog has been cleaned, will it make any changes on speed ? I know it's kind of stupid to ask while i can just try it out. Well, due to my busy doing other stuff so i can't manage to test the bike. Now my speed match in RPM for 82km/h is 6000rpm in 6th gear, same with the 28mm(this has been done with the blogs cleaned). Using 160 main jet size, needle clip on top-notch, std airbox(but open the top cover).

 

So as i mention above regarding about speed match, it's equivalent with 28 carb. If i try to test the speed of the bike, i will still having the same top speed doesn't it ?

My rs engine got rattle sound is it normal ? . and the splutter is abit worse.

 

Tts the dry clutch bro... Like the one ducati has.

Personified, whatever you wrote whatever you ride you dun complain in the forum, you talk to your mechanic, all good riders got Secert weapon.... And it voice down to hard training and effort.

 

Complained? Which part I complain dude? It's my point of view during my race, these are things Im giving out here because there are couple more Aprilia RS riders racing in Round 3, n they will know what to expect from the other competitors. It seems u know very well about what riders Do n what they have in their arsenal.. I guess u been around so u wanna bring yer RS to race to tilt the balance in favour of Aprilia? I'll love to see RS125 flooding the grid start..

bridgestone 003 rs , 3 heat cycles..

Alpha 12 , 2 heat cycles , actually can count as 1 because it was raining during qualifying
