That's really cheap! Even cheaper than some websites if we order and ship in ourselves!

 

Yes, super duper cheap! And the best part is, RaptorMotorsports is able to provide replacement pistons and gaskets if we ever need them as he's in touch with the Polini dealer. I can verify this, and i checked with him myself. :)

 

Dear Gurus, if i upgrade to a custom exhaust, it is better to up the main jet to 135 also right?

 

And, can anybody loan me a exhaust spring puller? :x

 

If you're using the 28mm carb, yes. :)

 

Hey matey! I've been out and about, so have only been checking in every once in a while. Bike was great after I got back from 37M. Then I went overseas for a week and a half, and when I got back, bike was bogging horribly at the start (felt like the same problem I had at PG), but it got better with time. I'll test it around the roads next week and if all is well, will be keen to head back to PG. If not, I'll be at 37M sometime soon. Will def let you know when I am to see if you wanna hang out and help me stress out His Imperial Highness Ah Seng :)

 

Hope your trip went well. You're overdue for a meetup mate. :) And your bike needs to be ridden more often. So join us for our meetups alright? :)

Noob questions for Aprilia RS 125 2009: (Lost)

1) Front tyre psi 260 and rear tyre psi 300 right?

2) First servicing 500km right?

3) Oil change once every month or every 2 months enough?

4) Spray bike and fork at which shop?

5) Wife wants pink colour helmet, which shop to go spray?

6) 2T use Full Synthetic what brand recommended most?

7) Do i really need to change to Arrow Exhaust like all Aprilia racers do?

8) Should I go to Mah aka Aprilia expert, for everything?

9) De-restrict my bike legal or not? If go inspection, need to restrict back?

10) Do JB people really aim Aprilia bikes? Gone in 6s! Is this true?

Thank god i let david fixed. As they need to make some adjustments to fix it to my original silencer...

380. Abit ex if it was just plug and play but they ended up have to use machinery to grind a larger holes of the screws since i'm using stock silencer. 12bucks at david u mean? Weda cheaper right?

I took over an hour with a screw driver n pliers... hahaha

 

Now I now I'm unfit... I wish I had the spring puller back then

 

I dun tink d exhaust spring is that hard to remove right? What i did was use a long L shaped allen key. Works for me.

sry, its 7 bucks 4 a main n 12 4 e pilot! atomisers r e ex ones... 40 bucks each man... all r from weda, david does'nt believe in changing jets... bugged him enuff to noe...

he does a gd job of getting e bike really nice n smooth, only thing is u'll b running rich so throttle response is slow...

Exhaust springs are really easy to remove, takes only a few seconds each.

Actually, no.

 

The only way to remove blogginess is to take away your carb's computer and internet connection, and make it do other healthy outdoor activities instead of blogging.

 

Bogging, on the other hand, can easily be mitigated by changing jets.

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Do or do not; there is no 'try'.

Master, what jettings do you suggest for a bogger who has knn panel filter, 28carb and SS?

 

Btw, does the grease which k&n has provided really provides a good seal? It was thinking of using black silicon glue to do a perfect seal.

i do it the same way when putting em back on using the allen key. i duno, maybe my spring is nt as stiff as u guys. for me its nt the spring thats a *****, its putting the pipe back on without removing the other mounting points. that one i spent over an hour trying to get the screws aligned properly to the exhaust port. i almost cried, i swear.

 

anw, update on PJME order. Angela just emailed me and told me that the order will be dispatched today or tmrw. She said MOST of the items will be in this shipment, so everyone cross their fingers and hope your items will be shipped first =D

I'd safely go with the usual treatment Vik always recommends - change to a 135 main jet.

 

But it were my bike, I'd change it to a 30mm carb (heh heh), or the next most common carb in most Aprilias today, the 34mm VHSB.

 

As for the K&N filter, don't use the grease, the glue, or any other to seal the filter into the airbox permanently. How will you wash and re-oil the panel filters then? Slice the sides of the rubber panel until halfway to ensure a good fit inside the airbox.

I also almost cried too. My fingers were mostly bruised, cut and bleeding. I think I'm just not that good with exhaust springs.

and if anyone needs a set of original front fork, i have one for sale.

Lawrence... theres no cylinder head for the 150cc so i probably use the 125 block again.them 150 keeps giving up easily.. 150cc just doesnt seem to cut it out for me,the revvier 125 block suits me i guess.

and after what u told me to look into PJME site,i found something else to that stirred me..thanks lah! :p
