Ahh... What a downpour this noon DIY.... Caught in the rain...

Nice DIY session, but guess i didnt get the point that its a DIY session not a gathering / discussion lol

Had assume that it might be hold by some old timer with the passion of aprilia, turn out to be all P.plates gathering learning to DIY.

Asked if rock oil is still good but got replied no sure never use before... haiz... Rock oil used to be so famous.. Surprise by one of them using pen-knife to clean the valve.. and i assume sand paper is the proper item to get rid of the carbon so as not to damage it...

No offence... nice session... safe ride

non taken my friend, it would have been a discussion if u didnt juz sit there n not say anything save for "anyone use rock oil be4"... if u think its tt gd dan try it n post a review. to me(normal road going individual) different oils dun really make a diff, ur juz paying extra 4 e branding. if it feels smooth enuff y bother changing... do u really need to feel e diff?

there r many ways to clean a valve, sandpaper, penknife, brake fluid etc etc. to each his own. i can vary e amount of pressure i put scrapping off e carbon wif e penknife instead of blindly sandpapering away both e carbon n protective layer of coating on a valve. its alot easier n faster too... i dunno, i guess u become more sensitive abt these when u DIY.

i guess it was a wasted trip 4 u since u did'nt get e answers u wanted, well try joining e outings next time, there'll definately b people hu have tried more brands of gear oil.

the one and only...

Thank you Felix for the DIY today and all the rest who helped me to resolve the problem with my bike at the end of the DIY. Appreciate the teachings and help. Picked up useful skills and knowledge during the DIY.

But I am upset that somehow my watch in my bag went missing. Argh.

Thanks! More or less is already done up by previous owner. Not very sure, I'm thinking whether it had slipped out when I was riding. Oh well, just my luck.

Anyway, hope to see you guys another time soon. Cheers!

Cannnn. Rental fee is S$20. :D

Speaking of supermoto and like things, I am heading up to Tristan Park in Johor (tristangroup.com) on 3 July to try my hand at dirt biking. I'll GoPro the ride and post it here and see if I can entice you and Vik (and anyone else who is keen) to join me next time. :D

Evil guy! :) Raj, I'm keen to try out this Tristan Park event sometime in the future. I have exams coming up very shortly, and will be busy. Maybe we can plan a trip with some of the other guys. I'm looking forward to your video!

Guys, any differences between Arrow and Gianelli exhaust?

Yes, the brand name. :)

Nothing wrong with P platers learning to DIY. I've owned my bike since 2005 and I dont know much about DIY. I take my hats off the chaps who organised this and went ahead with it. That shows their passion. You dont have to be an old timer to show your passion. In any case, what's your obsession with Rockoil? Are you being sponsored by them? If Rockoil is so famous las time, then you can go ahead and start using it. Everyone has their own preference, and you seem partial to Rockoil so go ahead with that then. :)

He's blind. When are you doing your top job? :)

On my fourth spark plug. getting really expensive to change plugs every week.

have set the clip to the top slot to decrease fuel in the pilot circuit. should I down size the pilot jet or go on a hotter plug like ngk8 that restricted models use?

Lastly does idle screw affects the whole tuning? My idle speed is at 1.2 so I'm assuming its ok
