i morning start no problem, is at nite sometimes big problem. i close choke start cant then open choke also cant then my headlight slowly like become very dim (not bright) and then like will blink everytime i press the starter and my clock all resetted then i see voltage is about 9-10v only. in the end push start it.

I got this problem last year too! And I'm quite sure that your battery should be flat already. When you on your bike and try to start your bike it shouldn't fell below 10. After I change the battery, it's OK alrady.

fw plate. when travelling about 13-14+V. come to traffic light will drop to 11+V. when i start my bike is about 10-11+V.

my replica is like that also. But fret not, the LCD voltmeter is not accurate, especially if ur wiring has been altered b4.

To test your rectifier, u should measure the potential across the battery terminals with a voltmeter.

for sale :

rotax 122 clutch basket - very low wear, see to believe!

25 piece cdr - brand new $8

17" monitor - flickers when cold $10

castrol chain wax & chain spray - still a lot left $5

Try this.

1st 500km keep it max 5000rpm, then gradually increase 1000 rpm for the each consecutive 100km up to 1000km.

I did this with 2 top end overhauls... no ill effects.

I'm glad you managed to salvage your block bro! :cheer: I hope the polishing didn't wear through your nicosil coating though.

Discussing running-in instructions is like discussing oil - there are tons of contrasting opinions and few practical ways of agreeing on an objective and provable answer.

But more important than how many kms and what rpm to keep to is how you ride, and this is something most people can agree on. The aim is to ride your engine hard so that your O-rings seal properly, though you of course have to make sure your bike's fully warmed up first. Avoid highways so that you can safely vary your speed, keep varying your throttle, and use plenty of engine brake.

chris, my block when i looked at it....the scratch i think removed a little bit of the nicosil coating.. and to what the mech says, he said theres a "drain". but then he told me that i could still take the block to polish...maybe make my bike slightly louder thats all and maybe eat a little more petrol. :weep:

so what do you say..now i really have phobia for piston seizure already :giddy:
