Andrew,

Eyz explained me wat is the shifter fork.. Sam calls it gear fork.. And he quoted me 200 bucks for a new one.. Also, 2 of my gears were also worn out.. So i got a 2nd gearbox with everything in good shape for 220..

Hmm, i guess overhaul is like this la.. Different shop do different way.. 1 thing i like about Sam is that he is honest about when a part can tahan or not.. he wont always say change.. And also, he is quite fussy when it comes to choosing 2ndhand parts... he rejected atleast 2 gearboxs which he checked for me before settling for a good one.. And one of the gearbox he rejected had only 1 gear abit worn..

I'll post up my FM bill after exams.. Now if we can only convince Benquin do overhaul at Ntrust.. Then we can have a complete list.. Oh yeah, someone go to Pang's also pls!

Hey guys, I just got a RS125. Apart from GPR70's, what other tyres are recommended?

Pirelli Dragons? GPR70s wear pretty quick but damn they grip good.

Hmm... I wont be riding for really long distances so I would prefer grip over mileage. How about michellin's. Are they any good?

Not sure if Michelin makes tires for our size requirements. It's kinda an odd sizing on an international level. Not small bike rubber bands but not big bike 180 steamrollers either. Best to check the tire manufacturer websites first for possible models then see if they're available locally.

But honestly if you don't mind the wear, GPR70s rock the party.

Does the battery even charge at idle? I know the RS125s aren't as bad as the mitos when it comes to charging, but i think the daily starting would drain it more than just leaving it alone for 2 weeks.

for rs125 , charging of batt start at 4k rpm... so idling going to drain more electricity..... jus disconnect the batt wiring and off the fuel cork can liao ... actually if 1-2 week dun need to do the above.... cover the bike to avoid rain can liao
