Can anyone tell me more of the differences between KRR, SP and RS125?

Other than their looks, and price of replacement parts. Which is more suitable for first bike? I'm looking at krr now, cos it's relatively newer than sp and cheaper than rs.. help guys?

What more differences do u need? The type of swing arms they using? engine placement? Since u noe the pricing.. Get what is within ur means.. Dun let the bike u choose be a burden to u financially...

hmmm, now that you've mentioned it, i'm a bit caught off-guard.. haha.. sound? performance? comfort? user-friendliness for new riders? (heavy bike like phantom harder to rectify mistakes compared to riding sch bike IMHO new rider)

Well, on first look. I would say the RS125 is much more intimidating to newbies like us who just pass their 2B, especially the RS125 models before 2006. Much much bigger in size.

As my younger bro is holding on to a KRR, I would say it is pretty much less intimidating. Having sat on KRR on countless occasions be it pillion or rider seat, I find that KRR is pretty friendly and easy to operate.

SP is more or less the same in terms of things mentioned above. Spec wise, I dont think I am qualified to say anything bout any of the bikes yet. I'm still waiting for my RS125 to be handed over to me on 14th. Will start to learn more when the time comes.

I hope that helped you out abit. =)

Plus the many threads in the forums on how easy parts for KRR can come by.

Thanks a lot IZECUBEZ, it really helped.. i dont have my license yet, hence i cant test ride bikes now. So i'm hoping to hear others' comments about them.. at least i'll have a rough target of $$ i need to fork out :)

idk. but what i heard was sp pickup arent as good compared to kr.(said by the owner themselves)

sp slightly heavier to kr.

sp slightly bigger to kr.

test rode both. more or less similar i felt.

more or less depends on what u feel more comfortable on.

and 1 eye or 2eye (headlights)

is the difference in pickup a lot? what about stability? i read somewhere i the forums, some bikes start vibrating or wobbling on the highway, quite scary! haha..

Dey are all quite similar.. for example, rs125 might look big but its actually pretty light. And there will be vibration at high speed, but its really nothing to be worried about, you won't be flunk into the air for nothing..

If you wan a stable 150 cc bike and wan play corner u go for honda sp. If you wan go fast on straight rd, take krr. Krr is much lighter than sp n got higher chances of skiding due to its small tyres. Both almost the same price. I really dun like the engine sound of krr. Sp still better.

I am riding a honda nsr RR for 1 and 1/2 years. It doesnt give me much probs. unless of that 2t top up and engine service every 5k. It is up for sale now. If you are interested, give me ur email add. i will send u the spec..

July 07 - Oct 09 - Honda NSR RR

Oct 09 - >> Honda Super4 Spec2

I'm a malay rider riding an Sp(which can say quiet rare la) and I'm satisfied with my bike. I agree with Honda Fan that the bike is stable and can corner smoothly. Krr has pick-up and its much lighter compared to Sp but about the skidding part well it depends on how the rider rides la(if careful means careful). Well, I think when choosing a bike you got to go with your own preference. Many of my malay friends told me not to buy an SP and try to psycho me into getting a Krr. At the end of the day, your paying the machine price, you going to service the bike, you paying for your insurance, road tax, fuel etc. Therefore you try survey all 150cc bikes, get a feel of the bike and listen to your instincts. At the end of the day you will be satisfied. Listen to Your preference bro.
