hay hay guys, i notice my rpm when idling is around 1500, in the morning is worse when engine is cold it went up to 2000, issit normal? or is abit high?

Normal idle can set at 1.1 to 1.2k.

The warming will be auto adjusted to abt 1.5 to 1.6k rpm.

 

Don't go below 1k rpm for idling.

Response will lag.

early morning cold rpm is high due to auto-choke... warming up mah

 

owner's manual says rpm should be about 1.3k rpm but most of us set it to around 1.2k (hot); mine was 1.4k from factory... very "noisy: plus liow yiu :D

 

can DIY lower idle rpm, make sure engine is at normal running temp and not cold like in the morning. from past meddling around, i noticed that air-screw sync sometimes run after idle is changed. i.e. better to sync all 3 screws :p

Haha no la. I just happen to be in the area cos going kbox with some of my friends. Saw the gt600 in white. Actually white looks really good in actual bike. Might just consider ordering the white ones. Lol

u haven book yours yet? if wana see actual thing, maybe can go MAH to see but i dun know wat color they have in their showroom...

if i got time dis sat, i'll drop by to have a look. ^_^

like to have some comments on the pillion's comfort. is it good? even riding for around 3hrs w/o stopping?

 

edit: cos my wife is oredi complaining when she pillion on my spark for 45mins. :p

Red light 'P' will light up when hand brake is engaged.

how to reset the 'V' light? bike ignition switch off, hold on to the 2 buttons on your meter, then switch on bike ignition while still holding on to the 2 buttons. now 'V' light will flash. after seeing the flashing 'V', can let go the 2 buttons. wala! done........

went to tat beng this morning, $145. the friendly shopkeeper told me it is gel based. Now that i DIY,i know why SW must use gel based battery. :)
