16km/l is alot le... Let's say on theory 16l fuel tank can only go 256km max.

swt400 is hmm not sure how much exactly. SW9000 maybe can advised? around 24km/l? that would be 384km! lol

who is ah Lee?

so in general, u reccommend SWT400 over the 600?

ah lee is the uncle in charged of all sales at looi's... nice man, many riders drop by to TCSS with him while look see the many new bikes there

imo, i'll prefer the 400cc:

... loose out to 600cc only in torque (pickup) and a little top-end, else all the same

... much much better FC

... cheaper insurance

... cheaper road tax (not much though)

... better demand in resale market (also open to class 2A buyers)

... dun like the SW-T400 insignia? can always change it for $70+

... dun like the color? can try pre-order or re-spray

if dun remember wrongly, SW9000 clocks about 25+km/L on both his FJS400 and SWT400... his FC is the best in the group maybe because he travels to work by highway from N.East to West.

my scooby usually gets near 25km/L, sometimes 25+km/L depending on number of traffic jams kenna, also mostly by highway to work from NWest to East.

if my scoob clocks 16km/L, my petrol bill would increase by >$65 each month:

... averaging about 420km per work week (or approx. 1,680km/month)

... usually pump Esso 5000 @$1.827/L (or $1.736 after 5% discount)

Petrol bill with FC @25km/L = (1680/25)x $1.736 = $116.66

Petrol bill with FC @16km/L = (1680/16)x $1.736 = $182.28

Ahem!! Gentleman rider like me no drop below 25km/l in sg for both my SW and SW-T.

Traveling speed 90-100km/h. **Max tank at 400km.

Don't think got diff in both bikes' FC.

I forgot what FC at 130km/h liao. Must go home check my record.

Generally, SW600 should clock about 18-19km/l.

Only ever heard 1 bike average 14km/l. **That's a special bike. Don't know go where liao.

If can, please buy the GT600.

Then we can have your review. hehehe.

Therefore a simple reference:

SW400 & SW-T = 23-25km/l

Tmax500 = 21-23km/l

SW600 = 18-19km/l

I got my SWing JDM Version last month, 4 year old FBA plate with only 16,600 kms mileage for 7K. This sccot is already 4 yrs old but the mileage still very low. There was another silver SWing at that time which was 2 yrs old but double the mileage, 32,000 kms for 8K.

I am really happy:thumb: with it, the very next day, on the 19th Sept I took it out to Tampin(a small border town of Malacca/Negri Sembilan) visiting my parents for Hari Raya, it was smooth sailing all the way, totally stressless riding, simply loving every minute of it.

Now I understand what they mean when they say that when you ride an SWing you will be S-M-I-L-I-N-G:) all the way.
