Ho ho ho. Full house at all the genting hotels.

I'm staying at Theme Park Hotel and parked at the hotel carpark... in the open though. Lucky got cover.

Is really cold and foggy here.

Tmr will try bring bike for a walk to Bukit Tinggi for lunch.

after opening the plastic cover (where we put the tools) above our engine, there are 3 noticeable screws atop the engine. the single one in front is supposedly to adjust idling rpm, the other 2 screws (one for each cylinder) seem to affect idling speed and also fuel efficiency. does anyone know exactly what they are for?

its for the air intake to the chamber..

2 roads diverged into a wood, and I-I took the road less traveled and that makes all the difference!

its for the air intake to the chamber..

any other bros can double confirm that?

if its really so, seems my guess wasn't too far off.

my guess was they're either some mechanical "knobs" to alter either fuel-air or ignition timing of the SWing's EFI engine, other than depending on the ECU.

the bike really felt very much better after the re-adjustment... guess it was too lean previously.

hey! if u didn't ask, i also didn't notice that we're now able to cruise at 90km/h with slightly below 5k rpm :thumb: new rollers are heavier than worn out ones... hahahaha

or should i say i didn't bother to monitor the revs all these while

heh heh... looks impressive, but i won't dare to try. later like some H or O branded plugs that break inside the engine, gotta spend $$$ to remove. worse still, bike stranded at land of mongolian pork ribs

For those thinking about Bukit Tinggi, below are some info:

Location:

10km after Genting on the Karak Highway. Look for sign that says 'Berjaya Hill Resort'.

The Route Up:

After a small guard post just afer you exit Karak Highway, you can go up from the left or the right route. Either way will lead you to an extension that goes up to the summit.

I suggest using the right to go up (and to come down) becos the twisties are better and sharper.

There are some humps on the left route and on-going constructions make it a bit dusty. This route is also longer.

What's there?

Summit - Japanese Spa & Tea Garden and Botanical Garden. Other than watching tea ceremony @ rm25 each, there is nothing much to see.

3/4 way up - Colmar Tropicale Resort. A unique French-themed attraction with restaurants, wine and cigar bar, swimming pool and stage performances. More likely for families who want to rest and relax.

1/2 way up - Rabbit Farm (entrance rm3) where kids can play with lots (I mean LOTS) of rabbits. There's also the donkey ride at rm6. Not forgeting a short distance away, there's a Horse Trail where anyone can ride a horse for 10mins at rm25.
