It is not the transmission seal that is leaking. It is the seal from the engine that link to the variotor. During service and cleaning it was not leaking. it started leaking on friday night when I got home. Cause on Saturday I went to my bike and saw oil on the floor. I thought it is too much oil. The smaller patch of oil happen on Saturday nite. The bigger patch is on Friday night.

The other picture is last night or this morning at 130am when trying to fix the bike so I can ride to camp today. We was hoping it was the transmission seal don't need so much trouble and waste money.

Antonio what happen dude to my ex beloved ride? Must be due to the mechanic workmanship that screwed up ur engine oil drain plug. I believe the impact done when the mech jack ur bike and the whole weight supported by the drain plug plus knocking using hammer cause the seal to break. Sorry to hear bout ur ride. You ought to highlight this happn after u serviced ur bike else some NATO "no action talk only mechanics wannabe will blame me for ur misfortune hahaha Even an experience mech wif cheap tools or socket not aligned perfectly at diff angle will get the bolt stripped. I spent $180 for a set of KYOTO socket ratchet set.Nevertheless if u need any pointers do tet me.

thanks Scooby n SW9000!!! will give motoworld a call... juz need to change rear tyre... btw, Feel Free and Diablo which is more expensive? my mech always charge me abt $120 for Feel Free rear tyre.

Can check out bt merah HKL for pirelli. try calling ah bee, but i rather u top bit more like what sw9000 advice, by the time the frnt tires will get deform, ur ride wont be that shiok despite new rear rubbers. Dun quite understand why deformity of tires occur despite proper air pressure check. Or perhaps mr theory man aka charman care to explain.

Just went down to start bike.

Wah, the start up voltage was only 10.5v. Still 1 push start but can hear the weakness.

No riding for almost 2 months and once a week warm-up.... don't think can last for another 2 weeks.

Dun quite understand why deformity of tires occur despite proper air pressure check.

deformity will always occur, regardless whether tyre pressure perfect or not, even if the tyre is "perfectly" manufactured.

my guess ... because forces acting on different parts of the tyres are always imperfect and uneven, regardless whether in use or not (parked).

* when in use (riding); as the bike maneuvers left-n-right (impossible to ride straight all the time ya) and rider banks it left-n-right, weight of bike shifts left and right accordingly and falls unevenly on different parts of the rolling tyre that is in contact with the ground. forces (e.g. gravity, centrifugal, friction, etc) acting on the bike and its rolling tyres varies with many factors such as bike speed, angle of turn/banking, road material/conditions, etc. i.e. every time we bank or "kup corner", we cause uneven wear to the tyres.

btw, one of the major causes of uneven wear is MSCP. most MSCP turns only in 1 direction (we bank on the side we turn) plus every time we "hit" the up-ramp, the tyres gets "hit" by the ramp momentarily and that's uneven too.

e.g. MSCP at my home turns clockwise (both up and down) and i usually park at level 3 (bo pian, lots always taken when i return). we can expect the tyres to wear more on their right side.

* when bike is parked at main stand, only a small part of the front wheel touches the floor and tyre is "pressed in" at that spot, causing stress to the tread and sidewalls around that area. although not the whole weight of bike, the smallish pressure causes prolonged stress at that spot over time.

when bike is parked on side stand, stress on the tyres are even more uneven since weight of bike is skewed to the spot on left side of tyres. no issue if its only for a while, but our bikes are parked most of the time.

just my 0.002c guesswork :p

Makes sense lar charman. But so far i encounter on super4 bridgestone tires and my st11 front tires. Surely will produce this pineapple shape. And my ex fjs 5mth old tires showing tell tale signs of deform rear tire way before the thread fully utilise. Seems like something gotta do with tire threa design and weight. Damn i miss my scoot. I swear thats my best ride ive ever own. Lol keep saying this.

Antonio, when u wanna get the visor?

Sw9000, u can send to limbatt for batt reconditioning and the cca measurement almost like a brand new batt. If u seldom ride, make a switch lar like army vehicles. Else if u got alarm take out the fuse coz for my case my alarm too sensitive, parameter sensor which cant disable, cause the alarm to false trigger.

Limbatt located at bedok undustrial. Charge cost cant remember but less then half a cost of a brand new batt.

Batt cahrgr needs a high amp supply to batt. There is a diff why ctek, snapon batt charger cost way ex then a sim lim $20 charger. U can charge whole day but batt still weak lol, luke the one i bought at SL too. Intend to invest one, very useful da. Another one is a car jump dtart portable batt. Cahrge batt at home using plug 230v, But i doubt its too powerful for our SW ytz14.

Hopefully when I recover, the bike still can start then ride immediately to Limbatt for re-charge.

Will call for backup when needed. Thx.

haha. its wear and tear. I cannot blame anyone for it. when you give me it was perfectly fine man. I would only have myself to blame. this incident gave me 3 days of headache and finding dozens of WS. and after buying the oil seal from US. unqiue call back the next day. sold me 35 dollar. Ah choong was very very kind and fix it for me for 30 dollar and even wanted to give me back 10 dollar. I cant bear to take it after look how troublesome it is to remove and change the seal.

Bro, after fixing the oil seal, the very next morning. My IU gone. I really wan to bang wall alrdy. KNN. hahaha.

So far i never see a WS boss so friendly. That sunday night at 12 midnight he came down to CCK just to see the bike and ask me to bring to the WS. Open the WS at 130am and realise it was engine oil seal. He didnt have the seal. After closing the WS he sent me home. It was 230am when he drop me off.

Now i am stuck with 2 oil seal OTW from US and he even offered to take it. waiting for paid to get IU.
