Guys do check your bike right crank case cover ( where the magnetic coil is ), mine leak engine oil past few days. Jus got this done today ! Then ask my fren to check on his bike, his oso got a bit of seepage now. Its near the bottom where there's 2 wires coming out from there. 1 is connected to red 2-pin connector, the other is a white 3-pin connector. Check the area where it is link to the engine.

 

Suspect the silicone from the factory not thick enough then will start seepage in short time.

 

Mine is FBA plater, coming 3 yrs old this sept only.

common problem..

mine last time last then 6monhts or maybe 6 month also leak.

so i went back to BS and got it done for free

Day 1: SG to Betong (via Kuala Kangsar, Gerik)

Day 2: Betong (Letter Box, Buddha Diwas Temple, Blue Mosques...)

Day 3: Betong (HW 410 cup corners?, Hotspring, waterfall and Piyamit tunnel, Flower Garden...)

Day 4: Betong to Genting (via Baling HW, NSHW, TG Malim and Batang Kali)

Day 5: Genting to GP (Ayer Keroh A & W, GP bike wash)

 

Cost:

Betong Hotels approx rm100 x 3 nights = rm300/2 = rm150 twin share

Genting 1st World at rm38 per room = rm19 twin share *with breakfast

Total Accomodation approx: rm169 (SGD $70)

Total Petrol cost approx: 1400/22km/L = rm115 (SGD$48)

its was the magneto flu virus spreading... SW1N1

 

i got mine done under warranty... @#$%^ dunno to say lucky or unlucky, less than a year spoil liow. long story... bike stalled 3 times on the roads; 1st time tow n left at looi's overnight (kenna played out coz they told me magneto no problem), 2nd time change batt (also went flat coz magneto defective), 3rd time go straght to BS liow (took them 3 days to replace, and yet didn't seal properly). estimate costings (motortiam not BS)...

+ magneto unit approx. $240 (FJT/ES)

+ labour approx $50~$80

+ engine oil (suggest change but some pp recycle the existing)

+ about day time for a proper job (RTV silicon based glue takes time to cure)

 

if outside no stock, can consider buying from SW9000 coz he has 1 on standby

maybe we should also keep 1 for emergency use

My was changed twice within 2 years.

 

1st time: Pre-mature failure.

2nd time: Battery used for > 2 years didn't change. Battery cannot store charge, current back flow and burn the coil. Have to change both battery and coil

 

Because of that, I currently used a mini voltmeter to track the charging.
