i at least warm up every 3 days. just in case..

i got a good question for long-time x9 riders.

do any of you have to change magnetic coil barely a year?

what is the normal usage (as in life span)?

Diff is Wm got help us wash the whole clutch and re lub all ball bearing.

Wash in the sense of tear apart all the things.(like clutch, he take out all parts and clean. not blow only)

i change 2 times and he did that too, except he was busy at that time, he serviced that later. It's rare that u will find a mechanic that will ever service this 'problematic' thing. That's why I always go back to him for a year and a half liao :)

you got to correct that, man. i change 2 times and he never did that. he never disassemble.

just to correct that, as not to give misleading info.

i did my full serivcing at wonderful motor. the mechanic did take out all the bearings for me and wash and re lub them..... i think he seriously did a gd job

u mean u did 2 times full servicing at wm already or u did some tuning and not servicing? cheers :D

i tried not starting my bike for 1 week also no prob le... echo is ur battery weak as in that it cannot holds charge? or ur head unit is direct connection to battery 1?

u know when ur batt is dead means towing. of course i dont think i will risk that.

nope head unit cannot direct connect to batt....... even my voltmeter is not too..........

alright anyway this is considered a 'red-plate' bike to me, and i do warm up regularly. shouldnt be a problem

If what i have posted is not the fact and trying to bluff/advertise for WM. Do check around with those who did the servicing and saw the whole process of cleaning and washing. Price wise i have stated the diff and what kind of service you get.

Every shop have its own supporter. I do support WM and those shop @ kallang. Inside my post i have stated clearly where i do repair and where to MOD the bike.

God gave us eyes to see and brain to think. Please, if time allow you, just sit down there and see for yourself.

If in doubt, please do seek second opinion from other shop.

Echo i think its kinda bad that awhile u posted he din wash and suddenly u said that he serviced that later and say its rare to find such a mechanic and u were telling soundless not to mislead others. isnt this even more confusing? besides if u were not comfortable at WM why are u spending money there doing up ur bike? u really get me confused le ? :D

I wish to apologise to botak at wonderful motors, due to my remark, has seriously caused alot of inconveniences and doubts about his reliability and working ability.

he is one of the best mechanic which i have mentioned before so many times, especially in the skipper and x9 thread, but because of a mis-communication, i have wrongly give remarks that have affected him.

i sincerely apologise to him and this misunderstanding has been checked, cleared and closed.

btw Happy CNY to all the x9ers :)

Hi, Kenny. Thailand ride. Sounds interesting.

Have 'pencil' on calendar. nowadays...for me getting away alone on bike ride is a luxury.

Doing your best is more important than being the best.

Don't pencil... use ink, then let Mrs sign and stamp.

Hi bros, i saw a product at MO for Voltage Stabiliser. Any bros know got how will this product help ur ride? cuz my batt damn old liao, tot if add this one may help me to start my bike smoother..

Please advise!! Thanks & happy CNY! :cheeky:

For smaller cc and single cylinder bike, not necessary for voltage stabiliser.

You probably won't feel the difference.

Just ensure that you don't over use/strain your batt.

I normally change mine at 1.5yrs.
