Perhaps I can go and meet soundless bro one day and test the performance of your bike then i can understand what is the real power of X9 like..

cos i feel when moving off, the pick up is really draggy.. @ 4000+rpm, can move but slow. have to throttle till 5500 - 6000rpm+ then can move off smoothly and on par w other 2B bikes..

and also, sometimes i will feel the an enhanced pickup power but sometimes not. weird..

@Soundless and/or Kenny,

May i check with you whether i get get an indication of the cost of repair on an X9 i am intending to get and maybe not if the repairs are too costly.

I know the bike will require a few big things:

1) Engine Mounting (coz the bike rear end is wobbly when i test rode the bike)

2) Leaky Front Forks, need to replace fork seals and top up fork oil.

3) Change of Belting and Rollers

4) General Servicing for road worthiness

This is for an 03 X9 Amalfi.

Would appreciate your frank response and advise.

Ps Ps.... Just back yesterday night......

From the way you sound, this bike like not worthy to buy....

Mounting, front fork, belting and servicing will min cost you 650~700....

Not forgoting the water pump, steering cone, some wear and tear parts.

bike price +1K(Max repair) = worthy?
