how much does a brand new 08/09 tmax cos now? otr w/o insure as insure price may vary

i dun tink the price would go down much..imagine..FZ1 go up by $500,but the Tmax went up by 1K..its a premium sports scooter la..awareness is getting high n so is popularity..thus price hike..i dun tink will go down much or at all even when the yen drops or u have to wait till the economy stabilizes..which is not anytime soon..as u know the economic crisis has only just started..

hi guys, I have collected my Tmax yesterday. Two Thumbs up for this bike.

 

btw, i like to modify the rear licence plate support, is there any aftermarket brand??

jusdirt,Shun hong frm speedway ask u to go view my bike rite..haha..got after market 1..n very nice..but number plate must do ducati size..coz its italian.urs is the silver 1 frm speedway rite..u also stay cck huh...

orh.. so u are guy shun hong talking about.. yeah, he told me about ur LV pipe and i drop by and take a look at it.. wow, v nice. i think i will go for LV as its cheaper compare to the rest. heehee

 

btw, where can i get the aftermarket license support?

 

yup, i bought a silver Tmax from SW. i stay at CCK near yewtee. e other side of CCK.

Ya,he is Weizhong..same as u..changed frm silverwing to Tmax..also silver in colour..license support i got mine frm italy..i will pm u the link..weizhong also did the fender eliminator (License support to u).but his is custom,he removed the rear fender n customised 2 plates just to hold the plate.

For 2008 model the exhaust system's part no. is 190.0013. A complete and absolutely up-to-date exhaust system, regularly homologated. Not only is the muffler characterised by the strong aesthetic personality, but it is also able to change the T-Max into a vehicle with the best performance in whatever driving condition and with a really more efficient engine when sprinting, which will allow you to face even the traffic jam. The main feature of the new Polini exhaust system is its body, entirely stainless steel made. Instead, the bottom of the silencer is made of carbon fibre. We are dealing with a product of very high technical level and of great quality, thanks to the choice of using such a reliable material as stainless steel. The silencer, stainless steel made too, has an oval section. Inside the silencer a semi-direct system is placed, covered with soundproof material, specific to resist the mechanical solicitations and the highest temperatures which generate inside. The new Polini exhaust system for T-Max ensures quicker power output, very good sprint and spurt when the maximum speed is achieved. This last generation muffler is the natural evolution of all the experiences made during the development of exhaust systems for low and medium displacement scooters. The weight of the complete exhaust system is only 3,350 Kg.

Its legal is EU countries..in singapore u can ask de distributor wether it is legal in sg..n usually the 1st 1 to get it homologated will be abit more of a hassle.

GUys is there a diff between a 08 & 09? i been to the yamaha.uk can't really spot the diff...

nope..as mentioned in previous posts,the us speced Tmax has the protruding signal indicators n launched as '09 model n special colour yellow introduced that's all.apart frm the yellow colour n protruding indicators(For us,its required for their vehicles),its the same bike altogether.
