Haha ya now that you mentioned then I remember.. The burgman was a nice relaxing ride but nothing beats the max!

Hi guys, i have some questions and need some kind souls to help me.

 

Can i know wat kind of oil can i pour to the transmission? EO or gear oil??

Will the bike go sightly high RPM if i were to change to malossi multivar and the torque spring together? Or change either one will cause higher RPM to move off??

You're rite EJ....Burgman has got the relaxing & comfort ride position....

While the Tmax is more on the performance side.....but I just need more kick ....dats why I am looking at the hyper motard.

i assume ur talking about the Tmax 500, if transmission oil top up shld be gear oil..but why do you have to top up? at most change the oil at 4,000km.. here's a guide http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HIh_R0YY6kk

 

i duno how u consider high but compared to stock it will feel more 'Raw' and abit noisier..here's another comparision for u to see wether it's ok or too high for u..

 

As per all performance parts,fc will be higher as per wear n tear too..factory settings usually the most conservative..

i can link u up if u want..but the new hyper is coming in soon..in a mth or 2 latest..850..more powerfull than 1100..but frm exp...hypers only good on track n small rds..if u ride on highways e.g pie at night..ard 100+ km/hr de windblast is so great till it can make u very unstable as the bike seats high and front (too) light..when running in my 1100s,on fast gear changes i even lifted the front..it's fun..but not all fun..

I have a colleague who rides the 1100s too.. He toured with his 1100s and told me it was a nightmare. The limited range of the fuel tank, the wind blast and having to carry a bag pack. It is fun in urban traffic but quite bad when he's traveling from yishun to changi and back everyday along TPE.

@EJ yeah..super true..only good on b-roads..

but the Tmax both i rode to malacca n full throttle all the way..dun feel any stress or turbulence whatsoever..still can enjoy scenery @ 180-190km/hr on speedo.. with pillion n H&B large top case..

 

in sg ride also no worries..after rain my shoes stay dry...in jam no engine heat,hand dosent feel crampy frm clutch..wanna play corner also can..pick up also more than decent..

Anyway I have a medium length Ram mount arm for 1" ball looking to trade with a short length one.. So anyone using the short length wanting to change to a medium length one can PM me. No top up just one to one exchange :)

Mine I place it inside the front cover.. A bit of hassle if want to put cash card. Normally I just top up $10 and leave it inside.

Hi,

Bros & forumer ( need help & some query )

 

Recently my friend install a Malossi multivar & torque spring on the tmax 500 2010 model. After install the respone of the throttle is slow & it need at least 3000rpm to move off. He find that its worse than stock ( cos its performance parts , should be better ). He ask me to check in the forums to see anyone got this experience before & what have to be done . Also want to know do he need to go for tuning after install this parts cos after he install ,no tuning or what is done.

i cant help you on this as i fitted Polini Speed Control instead on my 500..

Dun know if @cagiva03 had any exp

 

if i`m not wrong u can play around with the weight of the rollers to get what u wanna achieve..
