wa your burgman fuel consumption is same as my 400 man.:)

It is only for the trip. Local use is abt 18 to 19 km/L.

People ask me, "Why ride bike?" I ask them back :"Why drive car?"

think its silver that u mistaken as white. only know there is white for Burgman 650.

not forgetting there're 2 different burgmans. in Japan, its known as Skywave. in Europe its known as burgman. and they produce in different colours.

I read on the internet that there is a white Burgman for the earlier models. Well, maybe the site is wrong or no white colours come into Singapore. Thanks for sharing the information.

Hi Burgman riders. Just wanna get some feedback, are there any high mileage Burgman 400 riders here?

My 2000 Majesty YP250 basically fell apart, everything except the engine needs replacement (suspension, bushings, yellowed plastics, rust, brake discs, mainstand, exhaust, seat catch, glovebox latch.....) And the transmission seems to need servicing every 10,000km. Yet the bike still does 28km/litre, so the engine is still fine. Starts first time everytime.

Question is, how is your burgman at say, 100K+ mileage? I'm thinking of getting the AN400.

How much engine oil does the Burgman 400 consume on average?

i've riden both the 400 & the 650s. 1 year hit 67 000km considered high?

wat i can say is, get a honda, save all the trouble.

burgmans usually got the makan engine oil problem.

It's the way you ride that's giving you more problem than others...

How much mileage have you clocked on the 400 then? Does the transmission give you problems (Frequent servicing is a problem too)? The newer model is said to have vibrations at 4000rpms (sounds like Majesty YP250 eh).

I think taking it too easy is not good for V-belts too. My pulley seems to stick if I don't rev the bike hard at least once ride.

abt 90 000km. transmission was perfect. belts & rollers change every 30 000km. can last till abt 40 000+ km.

being a single cylinder, 1 piston the size of 386cc, bound to vibrate quite a bit.

10 yrs old bike of coz falling apart lah...hahaha...btw wats ur mileage?

my an400k6, 53000km already, has the common oil consuming problem.

polini variator, dr. pulley and clutch at 40000km, is due for change, but fuel consumption still the same.

The silverwing imo has the rectifier problem. best scooter atm is still the 650.
