Keynes, so where u svc ur burg huh? do let us no on your repair progress. cheers!

Hi, adr77, long time didn't come this forum. I service my bike at Kallang Motors by Ah Choong (tel no. 90220203). Very knowledge of burgman 650, should try his service if you haven't.

As for the radiator problem, discovered that it is the radiator cap, rubber damaged, so coolant level drops after a few weeks, top up regularly, going to replace radiator ($9) soon.

anyway, I'm intending to let go my burgman 650 @$9288 (o.n.o). seldom go touring, really don't need such a big bike in Singapore travel, somemore I don't pinion.

Stock filter cannot make it - the sponge can disintergrate.

its SU-2599 but it depends on your year mine is K3. But the MO, person just PM me he is not bringing in. The other alternative is Unique motot for $85/- or the malossi as mentioned by Bigcow.

Whats the effect of the malossi filter? I used to use a k&n one but my spark plug seems to show that it was running lean. With the stock filter everything seemed good. What kind of effects will the Malossi have? same as the K&N? Is there stock for the Malossi filter? Thanks!

i used the K&N on my burgman 400 k6 before. at 1st, quite good. but after cleaning & oiling it, the power wasn't there anymore. then realise the pores deform. no wonder people always say, use the K&N for 50 000km, then get a new one. dun bother washing it.

after that tried the Malossi sponge washable filter. to my surprise, the air intake was so much better than the K&N one and its a lot cheaper.

u running lean, did u remove the 'mouth' of the airbox?

Yep, I removed the damn snorkel.... After putting the snorkel back and using the stock filter my bike wasn't running lean.

i always have a habit of pumping my burgie until i see the petrol at the neck of the petcock..

juz a couple of mins ago, i noticed that petrol was leaking somewhere near the mainstand!! but after i lower it from the mainstand n shifted the bike forward, the drip stopped.

bigcow, u happen to experience tis before? is this a possible leakage or a design flaw to prevent kiasu ppl like me from overpumping?

Pretty quiet around here. I just got my 2010 burgman 400 about a month ago. Enjoying the relaxing ride while scrapping the centre stand while cornering on some occasions. Hehe anyway how much do you guys get on a full tank of petrol? I got 353km and pumped in 12L while mostly doing expressway riding averaging 100kmh (110kmh on the speedo but according to the GPS it's only 100)..

rien d'autre que le max.
