is it a common problem for scooter? any solution?

experience once when the light lit up after started my engine, unable to throttle up. max is 30 km/hr... :( but got other times when i just ride with light lit up, nothing happens ( x-ref to the speed control)

One of the sensor is faulty, so it goes into the 'safe' mode (i.e. cannot go beyond 30km/hr).

I encountered once, it came on and off also, finally took the bike to Guan Hoe at Eunos, they diagnosed the TPS sensor wiring is frayed and so intermittently bike will have problem.

The wiring leading from the sensor was spoilt, so changed whole sensor/wiring, costed about 120+

hi guys, Just got myself a burger 400 (old model) But very low mileage. Its a little hard to start at times. need 7 to 8 cranks before can start. Is that normal? Or do I need to do something about it. Need your expert opinion. Thanks.

Plug and plug coil changed before? Older model doesn't have much electronics so it's a blessing in disguise as you only need to sort out the mechanical portion.

OLD NO GO, NEW NO COME.

IC. But when bike warm up then its a one or two crank thingy after that.

So do you think its still plug and coil problem bro? Thanks. use to ride sports bike now i prefer maxi scooter for comfort (getting older ):)

Try changing the plug 1st since it's cheap and DIY. Worse case scenario is the carb or the auto choke. :faint:

handle bar cannot lock is mechanical. bike cannot start is electrical. no link leh.... which shop u went to? in singapore, there're only 2 mechs that have overhauled Burgman 650 before. dun bother looking anywhere else. can always call me at 91050569.
