Anyone has their headlight,polelight,and tail light not working before? Signal, meterlight, brakelight all still working fine. Any idea why?

Went to WingYap yesterday and empty my piggybank...

 

Went to install with my intention buy, the basket.

Then later Dass, the mech there poison me with this CF Chain cover.

Then while waiting for the job to be done, I see see look look and saw this. Like it and installed.

And I spoke to the boss about coverset, ordered and a new look will come soon.

 

Now I have to get a new piggybank.

 

Overall, Boss and mechs are friendly and lots of accessories. Price wise I didn't compare with outside, so I not so sure.

 

Hahaha, my friend call me say you went there to fix some items.

As for the coverset, the shipment would be in around june.

I also order 1 set also but very slow one.

the rear tyre size is the one that SP and KR are using. our rear tyre using 90/80 if i nvr rmb wrongly.

anyway Unique having promotion for Michelin Pilot Sporty 80/90-17 & 90/80-17 for $85 but only limited to 10 sets

hi x1r riders...i hav problem im juz met an accident ..i skidded on d wet surface...n my side mirror break,gear pedal bend,chain abit loose is guess....n d most problem is...i tink my gear pedal is stuck....able to switch Nuetrual to 1st gear only....cant hit 2nd gear...when i hit 2 2nd gear i cant...damn stuck....so any help???anyone know perfect shop 4 yamaha x1r bike???im staying jurong so hopefully anyone staying jurong can help mie out???i really2 need d bike urgent hope u guys reply.....if possible pm mie at facebook..(dan anchor)...

Happened to me before.. Simple method, need to cut the small metal rod under ur gear lever. If not have to change your whole footrest. Cost the metal impossible to bend back. =p

I forgot to mention about X1-R installing mid basket, it will "kiap" your fingers when you doing full lock. So must be more careful when doing full lock turn.

Problem with weak battery was solved, was due to burnt coil.

 

But the mech also call me change rectifier cuz cannot charge pass 40% of the battery...

 

But because no time so change coil only.

 

Should i change the rectifier as well even though the battery is working perfectly fine now?

 

@Forhod How much to install the basket? They help you mod the basket or you brought to WY with the basket alrdy modded?

30 for the basket, it was already modded so they just need to fit onto your bike. I don't really like the finishing because they cut it themselves.. I can see no filing is done so the edges are very rough. And the mounting they provided have a bit of rust.

 

I'm not really that fussy and I need a basket. So I can live with those problems. When I have more free time, I can touch up all these areas...

 

They also have the cover type basket with lock + key for it. It is 70 bucks if I didn't remember wrongly. I don't see the point even it has the so call additional security with an additional lock to it. From what I see, you can even pry open by force if you really want to open up the basket.

 

Just my 2 cents.

yes, u should change ur rectifier as well. since cannot charge pass 40% of the battery, ur battery will die sooner or later

can try racing boy rims. size should be 17 inches. i'm currently using dunlop tt900 tyres and size is 80/80 for front and 90/80 for rear. some ppl use 80/90 for front
