Try revving your bike & see if there is white smoke. If there is, could mean there are some problems with your piston rings. Will need to open up & check. Can also see from the spark plug if its wet & oily, indicating there's a leak of engine oil into the combustion area.

Is it possible to have a remote control to start up the bike engine?

Yeah all you have to do is take your tv remote, go to your bike and scream Zam zam alakazam & press the On button.

Jokes aside, remote start can only be done on bikes with electric start.

what engine oil you all use ah?

fully synthetic? change every 5000km?

besides eo & spark plug, what other stuffs you guys change periodically?

5000km??? Thats for Super 4 thats using 3.2 litres of EO. Spark only using 800ml. I think by 5000km your bike's EO all dried up already.

Well diff people have diff ways of taking care of their bikes.

My suggestion is if youre the type that loves to speed & high revving, go for the fully synthetic.

If just for transportation from point A to B, semi synthetic will do.

EO some people change every 1500km or 2000km or 2500km or once a month. 5000km is really too long.

Oil filter change alternately. Means if this month you change EO & oil filter, the next servicing just change EO. Change oil filter the next time you service again. Get the rough idea?

For spark plug by right it can last you for months.

But I remember clearly someone here claims his friend uses 300v for 10000km. No prizes for guessing who correctly.

But whats your opinion? Can 800ml of EO really last for that long?

There is no right or wrong. Just crazy and sensible. Good for you and your friend then. I guess different people care for their bikes differently.

the total capacity is about 1.15 liter according to the service manual.

personally, i think at 10,000km, the viscosity would have shear down considerably consider the small sump and relative high RPM of a small engine running at high-way speed. the TBN should still be decently healthy as bike generally don't produce a lot of combustion by-product. compare to bigger engine or diesel engine. Motul 300V 10w40 does not use any viscosity index improver therefore it should be pretty shear stable. as far as i have read, it have about 20% ester base oil which might help to protect the engine due to it polarity even with a sheared down viscosity. i don't think it is healthy to push it so far but consider the quality of the oil and spark 135 is a pretty robust bike, it might take sometime before excessive wear take place to a point the bike become problematic. my friend did mention that he need to top up the engine oil from time to time replenishing some lost oil which might help in his long OCI. without UOA, there is no way to know for sure. that just an educated guess.

the closer clue i have read is one guy at yamaha T135 forums claim he did a UOA on his bike with Motul 300V @ 5,000km and the result show it still can go longer. i PM him for the result but it seem he is not longer on that forums. of course as you mentioned earlier, it really depend on the rider, condition of the engine etc to determine OCI.

check up this link @ post #257 for what i mentioned about the guy who did a UOA for his spark @ 5,000km. He did mention the result show the oil is good enough for another 1,000km.

trying to push the OCI is not only for saving money. there are tests that indicate fresh oil show higher wear rate then used oil to a certain extend. possible reason are some anti-wears in the oil need to be "run in" before it become active. for example one of the most widely used anti-wear is ZDDP. there are indication that it is actually ZDDP broken down by-product that is doing most of the anti-wear job.
