i too chg my cone bearing ard $60 plus minus ler . u want to chg stem ? wow quite ex ler bro . what if u chg the stem than the prob come again ? i think must chg bike oreadi .

oh maybe u can put damper after chg the stem ..hehe tats awesome !

 

I ask ard 3 shops abt the stem cone, prices range from $120 to $130. It's not the handlebar vibrate left to right when let go.. It's more of when I brake can feel the stem like move? If I put on mainstand and press the handlebar down lightly, I can hear the "tak" sound. When on mainstand I lift up the front and move the stem, it can move front and back.

 

If put damper how much ya? Is it illegal?

 

In dat case go on chg the stem. Rather than u feeling miserable.. hehe.. damper of legal I think , so far someone here using it no complain ... yet..

If don't want to use damper u can always tighten the con bearings but it's easily worn ya..

Your problem is very much like what i had. I changed the cone bearings/steering cone and the problem came back. For a new one to be below $150 is still reasonable to me only if workmaship is included.

To all my muslims friends here. Early morning just now i read something that made me feel furious. It is a confirmation that we, muslims are a thorn to this nation. Already being suppressed in many ways by the "father" of this country, and now he finally confirms it. I urge you to read this article, all i have to say is, he is to me, the no. 1 qaffir of this nation.
