North side? you can cross the border, they wont chop you.. much.

 

I rather keep my bike well-covered inside the wardrobe & be bike-less in time to come, than to make a stupid mistake by bringing it across the border to service it...Not worth the few dollars that im gonna save cos when i lose it, all the savings will be gone in one shot.:)

1 of it may be that your bike is fitted with another carb.
