doesnt matter japan or asia excel..any workshops which u guys frequent can recommend?

Why must get the rims from Chong Aik? Isnt it pricier? Might as well just buy at the shop where you plan to install it. Cheaper and easier. No need travel to 2 diff places?

I gave you valuable input IMO. Since it doesnt matter to you, i suggest you might as well get the stock spoke rims, cheaper and it serves the same purpose.

Most of us here frequent JB but you have yet to say whether you frequent JB, if you dont, i suggest WYM. They're the best when it comes to cubs.

Yeap so i suggest you just get those normal spoke rims available at many other bikeshops which comes in many colors too instead of getting those from Chong Aik at a high price but its from Malaysia and works the same as the ones at the normal bikeshops. Its like you're paying for just the brand name but not for quality. Unless its really Excel from Japan. That's what bro FTW was trying to say.

No worries. The best advice and guidance are given at outings which happen once per month. If you're up for it, just look out for the outing event list here when it comes at the 3rd week of every month.

While waiting for his reply, the rim shud be standard 17 inch? Unless you wanna use 18 inch like one of the well known infamous pink spark did. :)
