my first insurer was AXA. that time i was 21yrs old + super new "P" plate. my premium was $790 for third-party cover.

 

my second insurer was NTUC. 22yrs old with 1 year riding experience and NCD of 5%. my premium was $680 for third-party cover.

 

will be renewing my insurance soon. still NTUC. still 22yrs old with 2 years riding experiene and NCD of 10%. my insurance premium quote is $347 for third-party cover.

 

usually, we tend to calculate insurance premiums based on "age" and "riding experience". insurance companies calculate your premiums based on "age", "riding experience", your vehicle "market-value", your vehicle "commonity-value" and "age" of your vehicle.

 

so, it all boils down to the insurance company, you, your bike and the consumer market. cheers!

 

note:commonity-value means how popular and common your vehicle is in the market. if there is an increase in demand for your vehicle, there will definately be an increase in premiums.

I really need your help. Really desperate already. I just realised that i have to renew my insurance by 29 Sept which is end of this month. I know this is not the proper thread but since mostly everyone in this thread rides a spark, i believe you guys can help me out. Any idea which insurance is cheap cause i currently serving NS and don't want to spend so much on insrance. Thanks.

eh...go axa lor...400 plus nia...ntuc 500plus...i just renew my insurance at ntuc... cos too troublesome to go till axa ... i'm also 20...20 can buy axa areadly... good luck...can try call axa for quoting...

If possible try to get your own insurance. It will be much cheaper. But right now your choice is currently NTUC. There's this insurance company Liberty. You could try looking for their contact and enquire.

 

Cheaper but age and riding experience still play an important part.

Who says its not fun riding a stock bike? I ha the most freaked out moment just now! Tire slide on those metak plank thing where they put temporarily coz of roadworks. Stock tyres so what do you expect? What a rush!

 

Whats the biggest tyre for front and rear? Possible to put 90/80 both front and rear without mods? Or die die must use 80/90 for front?

hahaha.. yah man... i jus tried the kenda stiky.. nod bad but tire easy botak leh.. easy botak then using batelex.. corner okay la.. but abit scary.. dun really trust the tire hehehe.. bike nice? ok ok la.. still need the crome to be done up.. project nt yet finish..
