Everything? Hmm. Ur coil and magnet confirm still standard. So still can mod. Got radiator? Means still can mod. FYI a liquid cooled 125 can be done. Done before alr.

Clear meter very easy to. Just take drill, disconnect the speedo cable den drill. Confirm clear. Even spoil the thing.

 

 

 

Okay so i heard. Star brake hoses and HEL come from the same manufacturer. Just that Star hoses are repacked in Singapore. And star hoses come as model specific. Means in a kit you have everything you need to fix it on, less tools. They even have de-link kits for bikes like the Blackbird which has combined brakes. Dunno what's that? Google.

 

 

 

Most of us here have big holes at our pipes. So i guess it's normal ah

 

Bullsh!t, total bullsh!t. Ask yourself why would a famous established company wanna make another brand of hoses? If so, why is the other brand not listed in their main brand page. Don't be so gullible to all this "stories", it is all marketing strategies and you should know better.

 

Did you know that in JB, they are selling fake Star hoses? Looks 110% the same from the packaging and all. Oh and ever wondered why their site hasn't been updated for so long? Sick and tired of hearing that Star hoses are made by HEL.

I believe most like me have that to prevent dirt and etc from settling in that area as my previous bikes I removed the covers in that area for better air flow but dirt and etc ended up there. However still a useful info there. :cool:

It's pathetic that people want good lines but say that HEL is expensive, to me theirs are still cheap compared to the likes of Venhill, Plot & Fren Tubo.

There was one design not mass produced. And from the looks of it I would say it would actually increase and improve better air flow. Will tell you if I see you. But thats just what I think. But who am I? I am not a mech nor an engineer. Its in the tagalog site. :cool:

I have no idea. Ever since that fateful day I am like this. It could have been part of God's plan fir me to be more emo. I boycotted that site and removed just about any info I contributed there including my home made TPS. :cool:

certainly a very neat TPS mod u did as compared to some whom simply removed it from the stock carb & fixed it up. sadly that forum is filled with many whom can't stick to using english...

Seen a pipe burst under your HDB block? Just imagine it's not water but your LIFE in those pipes.

If you guys keen on venhill, we could always arrange group buy with distributor. ;)

 

 

With regards to DISC over DRUM brakes.

yes and no, disc brakes provide more stopping power to the wheels but drum brakes cover a larger surface area and that's why big vehicles still use drum brakes on all its axles.

Advantages of disc over drum includes but not limited to;

- easier access to view condition of brake pads

- easier access to replace brake pads

- dissipate heat better

- replaceable braking element (The disc itself)

- works better in wet as centrifugal force will fling water off the disc
