hi bro/sis,

Yesterday while riding in heavy rain, i find that my front disc brake is not efficient at all(brake like no brake). Should disc brake performs better than drum? Or has my front brake botak already?

guess its normal for the brakes not to work efficiently during rainy days.

as water acts as a lubricant between the disc and the brake pads.

pointers that might help, do lots of tapping of the front brake, after awhile, the brake will be more effective.

so drum has it's advantage as it's hidden away from rainy days. Braking more efficient.

not really as drum is base on mechanism while disc break is by breakpad&disc.

drum break tends to lock easier and during raining days, it'll worsen the situation.

Anyone tried converting the stock rear tail light to an x1r tail light?

one of the forumer here had tried, it does fit, but not perfectly. but still work though.

yes, compare disc to drum brake, disc break are more effective on rainy days.

Rain or no rain, to me it doesnt make any diff as my braking is equal.. Check ur Brake Pad as it may have worn off.. And if u wanna change a new one, dun worry on expensive brake pad as itz more better..
