My GTR had some problem with the tire sensor. I went back to evershine and was told to leave my bike there for minimum of 3 three days for inspection. I could not afford so many days. I went to Loois motor and ask Mr Lee whether he could help. He said Yes and only need to leave the bike for 1-2 days. The next day they called me and said it was DONE!

Btw my bike was not bought from Loois motor. I am very lucky that Mr Lee men willingly to look into the matter for me.

THUMBS UP

bought my x1 from looi's in 2005.

Service very good indeed but price abit higher than bike production.

Their after sales also not bad, went back few times cos of some minor problems and they still give me good advice and service.

but i didnt do my regular servicing there cos quite expensive compare to unique motor.

30+% always exceeding expectations is an amazing result for an anonymous poll.

Just bought a bike from Loois. It's just a second hand 650 dakar but I can't fault the service to date.

The bike was sitting outside looking much worse for wear. When I expressed interest they told me they would clean it up and give me a call in a couple of days. One day later they called and you would swear the bike was a different bike, they had even replaced things most shops would never have replaced.

I put a deposit on it and told them I would be back in a couple of weeks. No problems, no hassles. I called them and asked them if I could pay balance Monday and pick up Tuesday (they have to get inspection etc.) - again, no problems. They even called me back and said I could pick it up Monday night but it was raining like hell so I will stick with tomorrow. Oh, and when I went in to pay Mr Lee had the boys cleaning the panniers one more time because he wasn't happy with them.

Every time they say they will do something and give me a time it will be done by they exceed that time.

Obviously I hope after sales service will be just as good and given everything I have experienced so far I think it will.

From a buying perspective...big thumbs up.

Fellow SBFians,

My first impression of Looi's motor when i called them to inquire on a brand new bike purchase is that they are knowledgeable & friendly. They provided me all the detail i wanted to know and those that i missed out for a new bike purchase. All this while being professional in answering my noob qns :cheeky: I give their showroom a visit yesterday, again asking them qns after qns, answering all to my satisfaction. I will definitely look forward to seal the deal with them soon. Will update again in due time.

Bought my 2nd hand bike there and traded in 3 years ago. Been my regular servicing and repair workshop ever since with no problems. In fact, they went real out of the way once to help me with a VICOM testing... way beyond expectations. If I have money to change my bike, they would be my first stop.

Agree with the fact that their pricing is higher than other places. But you get what you pay for, no headaches, they deliver as promised and documentation in regards to finance is superb. Never had any doubts towards their integrity. Hope it stays the same for as long they are around, which I forsee to be a very very long time. Haha

scenario of my friend

before buying bike

fren: kawa parts easy to find?

seller: easy one, won't take very long

after buying bike got into accident

seller: your bike need around 6months plus to repair

fren: i thought you say parts easy to find?

seller: ...............

*words used are not the exact conversation, but the meaning is there*

in the end insurance went to total loss his bike, don't know what karma sutra was done but the "total loss" bike was bought out from the insurance, repaired, and my fren even received a call for the oem parts and asking want to buy back anot

personally i did not have a good experience with the mechanic back then

totally, fully, 200% carroted

Actually not just kawa parts......if u get a relatively "rare" bike.....if you buang....it maybe easier for u to online order and ship the parts to Singapore. Waiting for shops could take forever and kanna carrot for the parts too.

The seller would always talk easy to urge u to get the bike.

Most of his bikes are way overpriced but locals buy them anyway cause he does the finance for otherwise unfinancable buyers..dont waste your time going there is you are a cash buyer....they wont discount...

Anyone use Looi's Motor for servicing 2B bikes?

Am looking around for a good workshop for servicing. Want honest & good bike service, good customer service. Generally to keep my bike in tip-top condition, to perform thorough checks & maintenance on everything. Not about zhng-ing my bike.
