I have actually used Looi's in the past for my other bikes and I would say that its was pretty straightforward dealing with them. No complaints from me. If anyone asked me whether to go to them again - I would say yes. No negatives from me. Other than the rather small bike service area. It could be better (perhaps I've been watching too much Orange County Choppers and that has sort of set a standard in terms of cleanliness and organisation and equipment)

 

The tricky part is to find out shops that have excelled in their service - the problem I feel is that we are so used to shops that may not have the right aptitude for caring about the customers bikes and the dependency of that rider on the importance of fixing the bolts and nuts PROPERLY as our lives depends on this. Sometimes - they have so many bikes that - they just go through the motion. Sometimes - they have labour with the skill level below that required. so when a shop does something right - we laud it as excellent - when it should be OK. :Legislate - How to legislate service - attention to detail?

 

In Summary - we should strive to have the bike shops service level just up to an acceptable level - no no - not asking for great service! just acceptable...then maybe in the future - we can go for more.... The first step is that we share the info here....and walk with OUR money to the shop that DESERVES it. Its time we (the payer) took more control!

Been going there for years for new bikes, used bikes, after sales. Though I did not buy my last bike from them. I will definitely do so again when the opportunity arises. though not flawless, but more honest and straightforward than the OTHER bike shops in the WEST. Those OTHER shops make you appreciate LOOI's a whole lot better.

i have only good things to say about looi motor ...i had got 3 bikes from them since 1995

 

absolutely love them ...and sometime iu could even stay on the 2 level and chit chat with looi to pass time admiring the bikes

Mr Lee and teams are trusty for customer service and speed of doing their work. that's why i have been going there since yishun till today.

to the uninitiated - "0" is NOT A BAD THING! - it means that the shop has done exactly what it has been paid to do - and delivered to you a job that is worthy of the mount you paid!!!

 

So a + 1 means that the shop exceeds expectations! yeah!!

before buying bike

fren: kawa parts easy to find?

seller: easy one, won't take very long

 

after buying bike got into accident

seller: your bike need around 6months plus to repair

fren: i thought you say parts easy to find?

seller: ...............

 

*words used are not the exact conversation, but the meaning is there*

 

in the end insurance went to total loss his bike, don't know what karma sutra was done but the "total loss" bike was bought out from the insurance, repaired, and my fren even received a call for the oem parts and asking want to buy back anot

 

personally i did not have a good experience with the mechanic back then

totally, fully, 200% carroted

Service is good no doubt. Bike Price is not the cheapest but reasonable.

 

There is no hidden cost when you buy a bike from them. Straightforward dealing. I am very pleased.

It's not the cheapest but Looi will not cheat you. My partner got several bikes from there. Mr Lee is a nice and honest person to deal with. Always gives us packet drinks when we visit the showroom

i jus got my bike there yesterday! v-tec 3 with 16k mileage at a very good price i'd say.

the best part is when u see those old classic bikes in BRAND NEW Condition!

Good and honest shop, although a little more pricey. I'd bought my new S4 from them about 2 years ago. Mr Lee is approachable and helpful. However, their trade-in price for your old bike is not that attractive. Apart from this, on a scale of 10, I would give Looi's an 8.

It's a good shop , i personnally recommend Mr Lee the salesperson, been buying bikes from him often. No complaint or dispute, He delivered whats promise. This is through my experience dealing with this shop.

heard alot of good comments on them, but not sure if regular services I should go there.. since alot of bikers said they only do very difficult task or issue.. hmm..
