dun think its possible. i think they are not supposed to have something directly (keyword directly, dont talk about the ceiling over their heads) above their turbans. have seen quite a few sikhs riding bikes, but i believe for their safety sake, they should actually keep their hair short, take off the turban and wear a proper helmet. no offense to the sikhs, but i think your religion will understand if you truly stay devoted. wear the bangle will do? :) my friend eventually keep his hair short after many scoldings by his grandmother when he took his turban on and off too often.

regarding riding without helmet legally, furthermore with a nice back drop for your photoshoot, i think you just ride to msia kampong whereby alot riders are not wearing helmets..

Im actually a Sikh.An unorthodox one..I cut my hair n do not keep a turban. Im going against my religion to put it simply..N im not proud of it..But let me tell u one thing PLS STOP BEING IGNORANT...Im honestly quite offended by your ignorance about Sikhism..

Firstly never bring up the topic of keeping hair short....There is no such thing in Sikhism as keeping ur hair short

Secondly Sikhs do not have to keep their hair short to wear a helmet! Clearly u do not know what ur talking bout..

Lastly pls ask ur Sikh friend who cut his hair to educate you a bit more on such matters...

Pls pause in future for a moment n think first b4 u let ur fingers do the talking.....watever thoughts u may have of how other religions should go about doing their stuff pls keep to yourself..

Dudes, please stick to the thread topic. Nothing to criticise about religion, ethnicity and culture here. We are all riders and there shall be no discrimination among us. However, please do discriminate those unthoughtful cagers on the roads eager to mow us down. Respect others and you will be respected.

for them is more religious than taking care of thier safty.

sorry if i say wrong...

i also got see alot of singhs who got no turban and wear helmet,

Of course if a sikh doesnt wear a turban, he ll wear a helmet.

And with regards to saftey issues, a helmet does reduce impact to the head to a certain extent but does not keep u 100 percent safe. Itz just that the law here requires a rider to wear a helmet with exceptions to sikhs etc. In certain states in the US and other 3rd world countries where it is not compulsory to wear a helmet, people ride thier bikes without one. So itz up to individual preference. Accidents can happen anytime and anywhere and it doesnt mean that a sikh wearing a turban would be more vunerable than a rider with a helmet.

legally, you have to wear a helmet in singapore, regardless of the ownership of the property in question...

...er...if you do take a picture of someone riding without a helmet, please help to make sure you do not share that picture lest it encourages some ignorant people to do that without thinking of their own safety.
