Hi Guys,

a) Just like to check -Any of you are interested to change your side panniers to a larger panniers as/like Jleo's- If you guys are interested there are buyers for your (other/former) side panniers the normal size...! can get a good price! maybe about $$$ for the pair!

Anything SMS or leave a message in this thread also can!!!!(answer sooner better)

b) Another thing guys lately- have you check under your bike especially your center stand rubber stopper at the exhaust pipe a slightly extended bracket from the pipe this to prevent the center stand from hitting the exhaust pipes - if the rubber stopper is missing.

I've bought few rubber stoppers with screws and nuts - now I have only 3 set (balance) if you guys need I don't mind trade in for a threat maybe a cup of coffee/drinks! :hungry: he,he,heee! (wkmshp included)

**Applicapable to those really missing stoppers only/genuine buggers only! (not to keep as a spare buggers)

Yo Jleo,

It maybe good for your riding style not for me-lah...At certain road the way I ride the stock tyre can over spin under me and no grip like some time you call it (eel effect)( another fish story) slippery no grip!!! :giddy:  had this during turns or picking up from a side road or during overtaking just when you throttle up!

After replacing to BT020 problem solved!! :bounce: no eel or fish tail effects!!

BTW what are the brands they have.. (as for stock) yamaha recommends were-metzeler(ME33/ME55A), *dunlop(K505F/K505) & bridgestone(G601/G602)!

It depends from country to country and the suppliers- for SGP*

**Maybe they brought it along the last badge of bikes or maybe tp not interested this tyre or maybe reject or maybe change brand! for better griping tyres... to prevent or cut down on (own accidents) quite curious! they sure to have a wits team to look into or how to cut down this problems.

**disclaimer - personnel opinion!!!

of course they are in a set... anyway for those who do a lot of straight road riding, these are gd enough... these were never used before ones...

Hi all,

To facilitate arrangements, i'll be sticking to a few thumb rules:

1) Meetup is 0300hrs @ the shell opp tang dynasty be it rain or not. So a morning call will b given at 0145hrs. Meetup time is fixed but not necessarily move out time.

2) For whatever reasons u cant pick up, 2nd call will be given at 0245 till 0300 when we are at the petrol station.

3) If no answer by then and all the rest have arrived. We'll take it as you are not able to make it and we'll set off w/o the absentee. If u still want to join us at that point, call any of of us for directions.

4) For no shows, it is unlikely for a refund to be expected as it has been used for the accomodation bookings already.

I'll prep a list with the pple's contact nos such tat if any gets lost, call for help/directions.

I hope all those going can understand the need for these ground rules... Also late comers Blanjah breakfast!! Otherwise not fair for to make those pple who waited for the inconsiderate one.

Hi Swift,

Don't  play corner or ride fast after just replaced any new tyres there is a coating to keep the tyre fresh...

Wants you cover about 100km the coating should have been wear off and you should have No problem!

After that you want to pick up coins while taking a corner is your wish  :faint: ..!

You will built more confidence on this tyre BT020 you have noticed it by Now!!!

A simple advise as a rider -(RAINING) drizziling do not speed-why     drizziling oil n sand never wash off there will make the worse case senario with rain BUT after a Heavy rain you can speed as you wish! Why  road is very, very clean. all washed off !!!

Silverghost...o_O

Hi SG,

Thank you for your advice. At the present moment, i have so far tried out a few corners. No problem at all, like you say BT020 :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: . The track grip and reliability is superb. Picking up coins is good idea but not picking up nails!

Hi SG,

How much are the buyers willing to pay for our current side panniers? And how much are the bigger closet going for? :cheeky:

Hi fellow Diversions Buggers,

let me pour out the best of all- is the ride- UP N DOWN the fraser hill...! :bouncefire: and thats what! I feld - it is all about!!

I let you guys to- phrase out the up n down...he,he,heeee!

Today we came back from center stand scraping experience, we play corner like never cornered before- this builts more confidence to all the rider who went..!!

Corners, blind spots on coming lorries, cars and few sandy spots

As though as the whole journey to the top of the Fraser hill was like(people used to say) having balls of a time man!! but -this time the balls were stuck in your throat... Only after few turns we riders get used to the way you need to drop/tilt to counter the CG during cornering...

Every corner you take/pulling away- you are passing by tree tops, just a few meters away!!

Its a wonderfull winding roads to the top 2nd n 3th throttling braking, throttling braking and abit of ass sliding~ throwing your asss' cheeks from left to right....need to say more it's a bikers paradize almost to a mini TT race, any-wrong move it will be JOEY's case..he,he,heee...!!! oneway trip!! and worse still you're no legend like him.

Custom with stock tyre Pheew!! what an eel- he eel his way all the up but at a slower phase speed of cause....those on BT020 never had any problem....!

I can keep on telling you more stories but not now ME! very, very tired/sleepy after came took shower rush back to samsung!

part 2 other days...!

BTW, to all frasier hill trippers,

At our last stop at GP petrol station, we pick up a new rider to join us in our Divy Group. He is also riding a Divy (Green) and he has clocked a good 62000 miles on his divy! :giddy:

Anyway, he told us that he met haroze near woodlands...and he is a touring freak too...any time also can go any where! :thumb:

When will be meeting up for kopi and talk c*** session and debrief for the trip??
