If you guys have somewhere to go please do put up, we try to carter for it..It can be 1 to 2 days trip! Apr,Jun,Aug,Oct,Nov & Dec..it can help those people who need to apply leave early..!

 

Jan - Genting (8th) Complete satisfaction-(trip story pg 79-80)

 

Feb - CNY month-local meet ups.

 

Mar - Fraser Hill (19th-20th) Complete satisfaction-(trip story pg 96)

 

Apr - Pengaran 16th -Saturday-1 day trip- for lobster/sea food. Also inc Go Karting @ Permas Jaya if pple interested.

 

May- Vesak day trip(5days).. Destination Koh Samui 20th - 24th May. Sawadee Ka Thailand... (Approx 335Km from Thai border)

 

Jun - (school holidays) local meet ups.

 

Jul - Penang (7-10)- 4 days 2 night

 

Aug -Cameron Highlands- 2days 1 night Dates PLease????

 

Sep - FIM, Sepang(dates-23,24,25th) 3 days 2 night. Confirmed

Nov -??

Dec - (school holidays) local meet ups.

Anyone interested in getting aftermarket side mirrors? I am selling mine off. It is the kind that Custom is using. Not suitable for me, nothing wrong with the mirrors. It is only about a week old. Got it for $40. Any resonable offers from anyone? No banal talk please.

I check with wkshp about the single seat conversion kit(cover) its about between $160~ $180 not sure..?

Hey guys,

 

I went down to Looi's Motor a few days back to check their side panniers. Aparantly, jleo's cabinet has drop in price! Used to be selling it for $1000++, now its going for $850 with rack and installation! Any buggers interested can go down and take a look...(OMD?)

Just wanna know how come sch holidays are only for local meet up?Anyone can enlighten me?

School holidays for local meet up only ..WHY?- we try to make everybodies life abit easy!

 

1) Almost every destinations is covered/booked by 'Kiasu' Singaporeans- Everything from sentosa to cameroon(Africa) are booked..!

Trips to malaysia, we'll be having hard times too - Finding a kucing kurap rooms, is something like a needle in a haystack do you notice sometimes people can't get a room or hotel end up sleeping inside their car along some villages/road...

 

Hotel price is max to the peak, from a 50 Ringgit motel can cause up to 200 ringgit 3 X to 4 X's the rate..!Most of the food courts/stalls is occupied...eating going to be another problem.

 

So we travel around the non-peak period avoiding all the above! situations - Anytime anyway can get a motel to take a rest...the best no need to book the hotel too or what we do is, try to go at the end of the school holidays like the reason Fraser Hill trip extra foods and more vacant rooms...and no kiasu s'poreans to bother.

 

2) There are few active parents in the diversion riders group, they need to bring their kids to holidays too. It will be less stress on them...(kiasu parents.he,he,hee!)

 

Our local meet ups can start from 2230hrs to the next morning 0300am do you know that...we just go to JB/2nd link to top up...maybe have a light supper/snacks over there.. ..

 

I know you will be effected, as your holidays fall along too...

As stated in the Calender of Activities (CA), anyone can add or suggest a trip in any month. So feel free to add details of suggestion, and then see the response.

Start organising once you have enough ppl. Sometimes, it can just be a 2 or 3 biker ride.

Hi,

 

I wish to also add that some of the members here are working on shifts and do not have the luxury of weekend days off. Also, during the school holidays, applying for leave can be quite difficult and troublesome, as everyone who has school-going-age kids would also cheong to go on leave.

Ya I'm definitely affected bcos I'm only free during the holidays. In this case, I won't be able to make it to all the rides at all. Even when u msg for supper I also can't make it. Even 16/4 1 day ride suay suay fall on a camp that I've to attend. Damn it, wrong profession.

Hi Sun,

You can always suggest where you want to go!!! put a date so we know that you are free on those days..

During the school holidays ~ just put a place n date you wanted to go and see how many buggers are interested..

 

Sometimes you will be surprise! by the turn up. Not neccessary to be on school holidays other days when you are free can do..! we try to compromise the date!

 

Don't blame on your profession- its a matter of scheduling only!!

 

OMD,myself,Nasir, and few others are on shifts we don't see weekends as often as you people do.. Custom don't even know when he is required to travel/ its a last minute things. Euro most of the weekends burn, need to work.

Other buggers weekend off -so now you know the way we run or let me put it..! we workout our schedules so we all can meet or travel...! its a bit of sacrifice only...we do it for the sake/love of our interest (biking/touring).

 

Don't tell me all the supper you cannot make it, reason supper at KTM(keppel rd), O2 have projects need to do but he still make it..after an hour plus he left..! don't worry we don't expect all to turn up, we understand that most of us are working! and have appointments. jleo and bibi only came after midnight spents about 45mins then -we call it a day.

 

I put it short and sharp "time management" Bro...!

0700hrs is the moving off time. Please be punctual so that we can avoid the jam at the Causeway.

 

Suggested itinerary :-

- Relax ride to Pengerang (ETA approx 2hrs). Can have brunch there.

- Chill out and explore Pengerang.

- Ride off after lunch to Kota Tinggi waterfalls for a dip (if ppl are game for it).

- Go Karting at Permas Jaya.

- Jalan-jalan in City Square. High Tea at Putri Pan Pacific.

- Back to Singapore for supper/night snack.

 

Anyone else has anything to add, please feel free to do so.
