I wanna fix a count down timer in.

For example set it to 1sec or less, so when I press and release less than a sec. It activate the original horn. If I press more than 1 sec, after 1 sec up. It turn to louder horn.

Hi Guys,

Last week change tyres front replaced to a Battalax 014 ($155) and rear battalax 045 ($130) as for the Bt020 temporaily no stock for the rear... front they have Bt020 but due to the rear top box mounting, it will have an uneven wear and tear on the front tyre...I just trying out the Bt014 see how good it is.

Bt014 -1 week test- feedback front good feedback, steering fast and agile.

As for other brands lilke dunlop they have all the size but it is not my type of tyre slippery on wet roads and on dry roads the confident is low.

I change my tyres at SPC yishun. Service is good the mech'c clean(blow) brake calipers wash rim before mounting...:thumb:

They have oil change services too(spc motor oil), maybe you can bring your own oil to them...they change it for you, with a labour charge.

Try this...

Things you need

Cable lags

insulator tape

20A fuse with housing

wires

mount your horn to desire location => size 10 spanner

pull one 12V from battery along with a 20A fuse.

disconnect your existing horn 2 cables.

connect to (85) & (86) of your rely => any way also can

connect 12V battery to (30) of your rely.

connect wire from your horn to (87) of your rely

short (-) to any of your bike ground.

like that can liao...

Hope it's helps

Hi Casper

I bought mine from ET too and just got them fix. Try it and my soul nearly flied out of my body...LOUD. Better dun use it when there is pesdestrain. scary...hahaha

ok.I diy mine last saturday.

as what bro Custom has mention.

Female cable lug blue $0.30 each. need min 8. (for horns and relay)

Male cable lug blue $0.30 each. need 2 (for current horn) I keep the original lugs never cut, so can just unplug and connect back to original horn anytime.

2 core cable, normal red & black ($0.70 per mtr) or better grade if you want. you need around 3mtrs or more depend where the horns are.

Fuse $0.30 and fuse holder $1. Buy a suitable holder then buy the fuse. So you will know what size of fuse you need.

Installation time around an hour.

Hi Casper4xxx,

I replaced my tyres at the SPC(for the first time- I usually do it at wkshp) they did a clean and good worknot forgetting friendly too- no scracthes on my rim during removing and installation of tyres to rim and they apply grease to the splines of the final gear(shaft driven) which is a must for every tyre change if not...it can cause a major wear and tear to the splines - I recommend their services..!:thumb:

the rubber nut that holds the crowling, and the windscreen?

It cost $3 per pcs at HL.

Suggest to change after 3 times of pushing it out.

Update on Krauser spare parts..

The supplier is taking super long to reply to my emails... I have not heard from them for 1.5 months... I will still try and see their response regarding the plastic strips you guys wanted and maybe more locks...

Haven said that, I have done the impossible... That is to have the only 2 keys to the boxes on 1 keychain and losing it all while in Mal filling up.. Luckily the customs ppl are willing to let me through without opening the panniers. Imagine how much contraband I could stuff inside.... o_O

Good thing is that, I still manage to open the cases without damage and also made new keys. Yes, here in Singapore!!!

Cost me $30 but its well worth it. I had to remove the lock from the box of course. They dismantle the lock and told me it was very dirty.. Maybe thats the reason why it was having locking problems in the first place.. Then in 20 minutes, they gave me 2 new keys. :cheer:

Anyone who needs new keys made, even if you have lose the only spare, should pay them a visit. They will be able to do it.

However I am not sure if they can modify different locks to accept the same key... Maybe someone can verify this.

Check them out here!!!!

Yappies! Excellent man!

We had a little topic sometime ago.. abt why nobody can duplicate the krauser keys! now lagi better! The guys on the webpage look like F4... at 45!

My box straps are still ok, wanted spare only... so no rush!

Thanks again!

May I know what do you mean by "Suggest to change after 3 times of pushing it out."?

I loss mine, bcos while I tried to screw the screw in. The holder went into the crowling and can't find it.
