Hi all,

As I can see the ride plans are coming thru.......Hoorraayy!!!

Haroze,

Are we riding up using the NSH and back by the trunk roads, or is it vice versa? The trunk road would be a good experience for the guys who are going for the 27th June trip.

Custom,

I think what you meant was sauna and not sana, right? That sounds like a good idea. I do not have plans to stay overnight, so, you will have me at least to ride home with.

How come the meeting place has changed to the Superbowl area??? I thought it was suppose to be GP Esso.

Guys,

I am planning to change my air filter elements to the aftermarket brand K&N. Anyone here has changed theirs? I was qouted $95 for the element.

Also, I am thinking of changing my brake calipers to a 4 pot type. Again, anyone has any information on this. Our current brake is a 2 pot caliper and the rate of brake pad wear is not even. You can see that the pad that is seated on the piston side wears out more than the passive side. This is old technology. Saw a UK company that manufactures brake calipers for our Diversion, but the price the bloody expensive. I am a little fussy about brakes, hence the questions. Also planning to switch to braided steel hoses soon.

For the brake, was thinking about changing to R1 type.

Anyway changing of brake calipers r always expensive one.

We'll have to either bear with it or we change it once n for all.

Also have to consider the utiliz. of our bike to c if it worth it or not.

:goodluck:

Yes, sauna. a good one b4 we head back but depend on the team.

I also prefer to meet at GP Esso, just nice for early birds to pump petrol, last miniute check, get the last minute bite etc...

Maybe U and I can wait at GP , whereas the others wait at Superbowl..What say u?

OMD.

I paid $81 for that filter. It's the same one the TDM is using. Go get it from SPORTING MOTOCYCLES PTE LTD. 286 LAVENDER STREET. sorry I don't have the number... I installed it last year June.

I have checked with MS wording liao... I found out that there is none even close to the one on our bike and also the lettering is very thin...how like that??? By the way I saw one that is quit nice but is stright type (wording is thick enough) even printed out and try on the tee...looks cool especially we our call sign below it ( good suggestion by casper) I will be getting the shop to print a sample ok...

According to Palary, just remove 1 screw and loosen 1 screw.

The only problem is the cleaning part.

Hi OMD,

I don't think...it is that good idea changing the air filter element to K&N...What I know that K&N gap is slightly bigger so more air and dust can pass thru compare to OEM...these later infect your carburation, synchronising. Only the first few months you find it good more air same time dust enters later it back to square one... needless to say you need to service it wash and recharge it, I don't find any different after all...my advise stick to the OEM...

replacing the brake hose into steel braided or teflon hose increase the braking and reduce the effort to apply... around $140+ per hose...per side.

where and when ??? are you going to fix those hoses...I thinking of replacing the spoke oil to medium grade altogether...

About the trip confirm on the 2nd june I book my leave already...working on holiday so need to take leave..

BTW...if you are meeting at GP Esso?...are you leaving from sembawang if, I might join you from here...

or I have to meet others at superbowl...0600hrs...o_O

Semranban is always a good point to meet for any trip....This RR is just before going into the KL confusing Highways...some bikers can get lost inside.

Ayer Keroh is rather confusing...because there are 2 Ayer Keroh RR, which is only 1 km apart (old n new) so bikers can meet up at wrong place.

sorry,sorry....my apology...!:sorry: what i meant was the first stop is at pagoh district of muar.coz muar is just about 80km from the border of melaca.we have a few choices......
