Hi guys.....!

Yes bro S/ghost and OMD had mentioned,we hit the 9000rpm but @ 210km/h...balls still intact. We wanted for more but our throtle just hit the max.S/ghost and me were just side by side.Just imagine if the Divvys were fitted with sixth gear....that is....zoom.....250km/h or more...! Anyway S/ghost n me tried in the evening @ 1830hrs on the way back. I don't think the Malaysians' TP were aroundo_O :bouncefire:I doubt so.....anyway there was a road-block near Tangkak but nothing happened :thumb:

So looking forward for the next trip with a larger group of Divvys. So when is the date.....! Oh ...yes I saw a red Divvy along cte towards city plate no.FS8604...! The rider was an ang moh...Does any body know him ....? Hey Jleo find out who is he n tell him to joint us...ha!ha!ha! :thumb: ::bounce:

I hv one the same length as BMW grip.

After compare it w the orginal one the material softer.

Don't know gd or not. Will install it on my new handle bar.

I go measure and let u know tomorrow.

Measure liao. The length as follows:

Diversion orginal: 13.25cm

Comparable BMW grip : 12.5cm (raw, not mounted on handle bar)

Others bikes grips I measured range from 11.5cm to 12.5cm.

Guys,

Please check to make sure that you brake fluid reservoir (front) is not leaking. Mine seems to be having a slight leak. In fact, SilverGhost also pointed it out that he also has the same problem.

Don't say I did not warn you guys.

Custom ,

On the market there are 3 sizes which I came across 90cm mostly for scooters, 110cm most bikes, 120cm for limited bikes only...Early on I fixed "Harris" grip it was 110cm perfectly covers the OEM space..

Then after, you guy's mention that the BMW grip felt better, I change the grip to the BMW but the grip is shortter then the OEM, yes it felt better, only have one size 90cm...so guys I have abit of extra space both side of the handle

Still holding on to the earlier 2 sets of grips...thinking whether to change back or not...:faint: :faint: :faint:

Most of the time I wear gloves so not much of the difference but when going down to near by shops, I just ride without gloves then you can feel the difference with the BM grips...o_O

Hello guys...!

Talking about the front brake fluid,I had the same problem.I tried to tightened it myself as I thought that the screw were loosed. So I send it to HL and asked Mr Jabbar what happened. He told me that most of the Divvy have this problem...... by manufacture...he then did some sand paper on it and it is done...! :cheer: ::thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Guys,

Got my brake reservoir problem sorted out earlier today at HL. It was done under warranty, kudos to HL for their customer service. I was impressed by the mechanic who even explained to me in detail the problem and how to go about rectifying it.

Saw Casper's bike today.........looks as good as new. The repair job was very professionally done. No traces of the crash.

Yo!Got my bike back today...hoorayyy!!!!!!!!!!!

The cowling job was well-done but now my cowling seems to be in a darker tone than my fuel tank cos of the re-spray.

Guys...any1 of you ever experience some kinddda of squeeky sound coming from the cowling? Mine seems to have...quite irritating...HL assessed that it may be due to the stay gg bit of line thus adding pressure to the cowling...hence the sound...nw considering if i should change the stay...but like a bit wasted cos the stay stil sturdy....

Palary,

The sanding was done on the cap only. The rubber cap was also changed, renewed the brake fluid and then bleed the whole system. There is actually a small bleed hole on the cap, if you look closely. It is a design that is only found on Yamaha's brake reservoirs.

yups yups yups i got my front brake fluid reservoir changed today at HL also...leaking too...but no promise whether this OEM fault wil be completely solved after replacement of the rubber piece..stil gotta monitor..in the meantime...whenever i park my bike wil put a piece of cloth at the cowling just in case the fluid drops onto the cowling creating bubbles....spoilting the paintwork...
