HI GUYS,

Casper,Now you can buy the jacket from chap lee the shipment just came in...Today I bought the (cordura) "AIRTEK" jacket light grey colour(almost silver) for our climate use..$300+ need to bargain with them...very good!!! fitting, no baggyness and I did not sweat -today tested @ around 1500hrs riding around serangoon traffics recommended!!!italian quality..

Oxygen, you are looking for bike boots goretec "OXTAR" check with them the boots $180 the best price given...waterproof, comfortable...look for vincent! along jln besar in front of pitt st before weld rd.(look for the big arai helmet)

OMD, I check the brake line "HELL", a set (a pair of hoses with banjos and all the required accessories)for the front brakes.... steel braided lines with alot of colours to choose from, front set cost $160/ there is a small problem...that they do not fix them for you. You must fix yourself or find a workshop..!o_O so how interested buddy!o_O

Folks,

It is the bloody server that is making us scarce. Each time I tried to access this Forum, the pages never load.

Jleo,

Meet up soon???

Casper,

For your budget, go to Regina and select the jackets there. The R'Jays ones are not that bad for the price you pay.

SilverGhost,

The jackets you bought is what brand?

OMD

Yo guys.Went Chiap Lee earlier, had a look at the jacket which Silverghost bought. Not bad, nice! Was quote 300/- flat by them. kindda exceeded my original budget of 200/-.

water resistant type / reflective strips / lotsa of pockets for putting small items / material feels cold and nice to the touch .... but I'm also considering the kindda of clover jackets which hv removable sleeves ... gotta hv a look at the clover website first ... after deciding stil gotta seek endorsement from my 'govt' ... haha ....

Hi Casper,

I have the cataloge for the clover jackets...o_O but you wanted or looking for the sleeves detachable type, brother your arms are made of steel or what? I wander!

those type are 50% water resistant only :nono: and are very hot for our climate use...those type of 'jackets' do not have nettings they are fully enclose type.

Why are we buying those jackets? because of the armour protection at all the right places and a quality jacket, paying for that the amount $$$, if you remove those sleeves you are removing those arm protection altogether (arm-elbow and shoulder) where most of us land during (touchwood) an #*@>%?&

These are the detachable sleeves model no:

(50% Water resistant) GP4 1778, ZOOM 1789, HP1799, PODIUM 1786 and (100% Water resistant)SYS-5 1787...

Silverghost,

Exactly my sentiments too. The Diversion Riders are a little on the passive side. Rest assured that I am always reading this forum several times a day.

I am looking at a east coast ride in August maybe. Most likely an overnight thing. Going up from Mersing side onwards. Nothing concrete yet, just a thought.

Yo Melvin,

I don't know whether those material are for our climate...but I saw some at the regina show room(alpinestar jackets) from outside those jackets look cool.!!! I did not ask for the price...

Actually, when you are free you can drop by chaplee to check some jackets, infact I got mine about $300/- just need to bargain...It is always better to look around for better deal...

I always wanted to have some good quality jackets, thats all... its about safety with style and comfort!

We are spending most of our money on the bikes and women which you never see after sometime so why don't we spend that money on ourself...just a point...

The jacket you showed is there any ventilation example nettings or zippers..can it be worn on daily basis... o_O
