yea tts wad devil.L told me too... mayb one free day i sld go bak to ah chong n ask him... sometimes kick down tot gear 1 liao since cant kick dwn anymore den in the end im not, arbo is stuck at gear 1 den drag cannot go up gear 2 den ppl tot i rev for wad >

 

Better have ah chong to check it out. He will test ride and listen to the humming of your piston and he'll know. He heard mine and gave me very sound advises. Dun wait too long hor!

Has anyone else used OWS EO b4? Is it good? And is it necessary to add OWS engine protector too?

some of their products have destroyed engines before... and a few products would guarantee an overhaul... just for a start... avoid them...

Use a thicker engine oil.

CHOI~ ytd i chged my handle bar n now my gear changing is back to normal alrdy, guess it was the cable bah... but now i need to release more than last time for the clutch to open thou... n i feel more vibrations than i used to... mayb coz now usin s4 bar + shorty risers tts y can feel the vibration more... at least my gear changing is ok :angel:

you can adjust your clutch cable at two different points... one is at where the cable connects to your lever, the other point is where the cable connects to the clutch... I have always liked my biting point to be just a few mm away from fully clutched in :smile:

Okie noted. Will avoid the o-w-s series from now.....including the engine oil oso.

Yeah man Motul 300V rocks but the price of it makes me giddy. It's $28 for one bottle. Too expensive for me already. Not yet include spark plug price & oil filter price?

since your bike is young and has an oil filter, fully synthetic oil can last very very long... you just need to change once the oil is used until the minimum oil level :smile:

No lar bro. Ta200 got NO oil filter. The oil filter i meant is for my bike which is FZ150i leh.

For you guys info maxima has increased to $24 (unique motor)

 

The label has changed to triple ester based

 

Tried it its the same as the old one.

 

motul 300v is only double ester yet maxima have something that is triple ester...? hmmm...

Where you get your Chex9000? I staying in the west so hoping can get somewhere in the west side.

Yeah... Where to find in the west? Yesterday I got to travel up to Ubi sia to get it at Planet motor... Super far sia for someone living at Jurong West... But the journey was worth it cos my bike now nv roar liao at 90km/h...

yes yes!! my engine now is like roaring at only 90kmh, gear changing very stiff. OWS so expensive yet so not suitable for our phantoms.

 

Anyone can inform us where got the chex9000 somewhere in the west please? :angel: Called many bikeshops no have .... :dozed:
