Okie... Anyway, getting sick of my firebalde... Changed the socket near the y rectifier coz the whole thing melted and my biek respond still like retard like that. Am so glad am ditching the bike for a class 2 soon in a few months time.

Ride also no mood unlike when my bike is well... So damn sick of it that i hope a car would just bang me so that i could go for full make-over. Really damn sick... Dun know how to describe...:dot:

Actually its really up to individual and mech. Once u insolated and replaced most of the old wear and torn, majority of the time is pretty reliable.

the tickling sound is reali fast but not say veri loud . jux check it out for the safe feelin . =)

Haha yeah just check it out.. i asked my mech abt mine he said was normal.. went off after i did valve clearance but it came back after a couple of months.

i dunno la... but am just f u c king pissed off with my bike. Am stuck in my bloody job that the only time i could repair is on Sat. Dun expect me to throw my bike at a bike shop coz i want to be there and make sure its bloody working in good condition. Every bloody month have to spend money doing it..Problems just keeps appearing.

I believe i have enough of it... When October comes.... I'll send the bike to the shop to get a class 2 bike. Am so really words can't describe... I think money is better used doing other things that really deserve...

But i've an endearing someone to be with and secondly a galfriend whose alright alright ... So use it as transport is fine though it makes me puke.

My racing days r over i believe... i've just lost faith and feelings for my bike.

Life is like a box of chocolate...

If its small tickling sound its ok due to the age of the engine.. unless it sounds like a diesel engine then it would be problematic.

ya.. small ticking sounds are normal.. no matter how many times or how new ur shims are.. after a few months, the sounds will come back again.. so those new riders there dun need to worry too much... our blade's common problems are fuel pump spoil, overheat problems, starter problems.. if u or ur ex-owner really to take note of when to change EO, ur bike's engine should be ok most of the time.. for me i always use good EO.. rather spend more on EO than having to worry abt overhaul engine or stuff..

i think u need to find out the root of ur bike's problems. since everyone knows that bike shop u went to sux completely, maybe u can try a change of bike shop. :) who knows, it may make a big difference.. i went down to that bike shop once.. and 1 look at the mechanics.. lol.. dunno wad to sae la.. their faces all already told me "CMI" liao.. in my opinion la, i dun think any bike will slowly recover by itself. it's either totally repaired, or not repaired at all. ur babyblade is the same model as mine.. im also R model.. but wad i encountered are just normal wear and tear problems.. nothing as serious as urs.. u have said that u cannot trust to leave ur bike at the bikeshop without u supervising the repairs.. but for me i trust my mechanic(ah meng) completely, knowing he will do a good job.. again it is up to the individual's riding habit or the rider's ownership of it bah.. :)

i dun think u will really wan a car to bang u la.. lol.. u are just thinking of making a full claim for repairs.. how abt ur body.. can repair or order new human body parts? just my 2 cents of opinions.. :p

although my blade's ownership will be transferred in 2 days time, i still love it very much. but due to the right opportunities, i feel it is the right time to sell it.. :) i will never regret riding a babyblade no matter what other people sae rvf faster or blah blah blah.. my babyblade really gave me a lot of joy in terms of performance, touring and the screaming of my Yoshi at 230km/h.. :) the only regret i ever have for riding a babyblade is never have the chance to bring it down to track even once for what i called real racing.. :p

eh supera.. i think will be goin for the herbal duck again next month.. will inform u again.. lol.. when i take my vtr out for a try at 2nd link nxt month.. :p

Well i threw my bike at bike shop for 1 week and spent 1200sgd replacing everything that my mech thinks is required and its like problem free now..feels kinda like a new bike to be honest.

Sometimes u leave 1 small problem unchecked and it leads to a chain effect. for example u have weak battery , sometimes it ends up spoiling ur rectifier and ur magnetic coil..

:giddy: oil light appear always not a good sign, just hope it's your oil pressure warning light circuit is spoil or your oil pressure switch is spoil if not it's the engine lubrication system something wrong lioz.

Could be oil pump spoil, EO too low (maybe leaking), EO viscosity too low (thin oil).

EDIT: Also maybe nothing wrong with your oil light, rem when you kill the engine the oil light will appear rite? Maybe your engine stalled and died?

haha u dun need whack la.. 2/3 of ur max rpm at 6th gear is enough to keep up with all the fireblade liao. What paint design u planning?

;5595010']my bike today ki siao..

suddenly i clutch in drop gear. the oil light, light up den my engine die off..

anyone what causes this? or it's normal

Check ur ignition cables, try shifting or moving the cables to see if the contact is good.. ( the part of cable just after the place u put keys) Possible thing i can think of is u clutch in drop gear , due to some shaky movement or something cause the contact to be off..

So i end up like u off engine and on again kinda effect.

u want to be racer u must know how to be with your ride through thick and thin. through happy days and through bad days... then you 'become one' if u just want the good part, well, all good things come to an end. never give up...

:thumb::thumb: Agree with what mitsui say. But I think no one can beat me in terms of cost on bike repairs. But truth be told, i never regreted riding a baby blade, She brought me places and joy and heartache as well. There will always be ups and downs. But before that, go to a trustworthy bike shop. The 2 mechs that I go to, I have no qualms leaving my bike there for a few days for the job to be done.

I also agree, never get into an accident. The damage is irreversible.

agree.

The damage is irreversible.

... should change tyres first wor... o_O

bike dying off is NEVER normal. :faint:

agree as well.

same here...for me the only reason i be reluctant to leave bike with my mech is thought of having to BMW and cannot stay out late.....other than that i have no problem leaving my bike with my mechs...trust them to do a proper job and a proper job they have done for my bike...although there are some slacks in the job..but nonetheless it doesnt cause big problems....
