Hey, my cbr's fork needs replacement because its a bit slanted (according to mech),

anyone has shops to recommend for replacement..?

and rough cost..?

 

Cuz my current mech is taking way too long to order the new pair of fork.. =(

 

would also like to check if got shops to recommend for respray rims..

i think most bike shop got press back. if the mech want. one day will do. i did it once at planet. going to do so at k&t. bikeworks also have.

 

morning they take out your fork. then send it out to press. about few hours come back then fix back for you lor. (it all depends. cos if alot of bikes in the shop. eg. sat. i dont think he will have time to do so.)

 

price wise should be around $80 a pair to press. maybe will charge for worksmanship to fix back your fork etc. all depends on bike shop too.

erm, i bought the bike from another forumner.. then when changing the bearings the mech told me its abit bend and the fork oil leaking..

i dare not say that it will be 100% condition when you press it back. but at least its better. working condition.

and also change a new one is better cos its new. and its expensive. haha. fork oil leak change seal will do. dont think it cost much. not very sure about that.
